Most of what they know about Jason and Charlie is the relationship and the details are limited. Jason is the most secretive of the two so some people may have found possible fault there.

Both in still in a codependent relationship (broken up or not) and so are both instigators and so the littlest things get blown out of proportional. They both each get their share of blame in it and I think it just finally came to a head and there were just nominated them just to encourage them to stop the excessive nature of it... it's been very awkward for the public to watch, so probably 100x more awkward to live with.

I understand where you are coming from though, nobody wants to be defined in there by an ex and that relationship, but Charlie, her issues withstanding, could not shake the "evil ex" label the entire time there and that had to be difficult. She was emotionally unable to let go and it doesn't feel good to feel like you are being treated as a "potential problem" to avoid in the house which was 75% Jason's way of approaching things. That's clearly how he felt, but that doesn't make it any easier on Charlie and you can understand why her friends voted to nominate him. It still is not fair to give them flack for what happened outside the house but it was 50/50 brought on by them both making it an ever-present issue inside the house.

This is why I think it's always best to just stay out of other people's relationships. Most of the HM's probably felt it was their issue to deal with which is probably why they didn't get as many votes as Chelsea.

He was only bothered because they only put him up after Charlie trying to turn housemates against him. She did that in spite because he rejected her.

Same for her actually. It was all about Jason. I recall both Alex and Jackson going on about relationship stuff

So he had a point

Even if they did nominate him for it he must have some ego to think it's impossible somebody just finds him annoying or false. ..It must be Charlie's fault
