I said I had tried weed, then I read on here that weed is different from Hash.
So I haven't actually tried weed only hash.
Unless I have eaten one of my sisters space cakes at some point and not realised:laugh:

Kizzy... the point was that she knows people with complicated jobs who smoke weed (evenings and weekends I assume, not in the office :hehe: ), and smoking weed doesn't affect their ability to do their job during the day, thus anecdotally demonstrating that smoking weed doesn't necessarily damage people psychologically or reduce their brain function.

It has nothing to do with the job itself somehow reducing the side effects of the drug . No one said that, anywhere. I assume it was the example used because it's the example she knows of people who need to "use their brains a lot". Likewise, I could use the example of having known a lot of students who smoked all through University and still came out with good / 1st class degrees.

Why are you attempting to explain what I mean to me?....

Whatever you do, you are at the same risks as anyone else. That is all I am saying, if you are a professional who has smoked it for years then you are lucky is all.
Knowing a couple of people who you perceive not to have any effects proves nothing.

I've never smoked it but I think it's ridiculous that it's criminalised. There is literally no real argument for making it an illegal substance.

It poses no health risks (tainted strains can cause some mental issues but that wouldn't be an issue if they legalised it) and it's far better for your health than alcohol or cigarettes, both of which can kill. People smoking weed are generally more agreeable and less likely to cause issues than a drunk person would and if they legalised it, it would probably bring in more tax money than cigarettes would plus regulations when it comes to growing weed to be sold would likely solve issues involving the previously mentioned tainted strains that you can get if you buy it off a dealer.

It's long past due for it to be decriminalised.

It doesn't have to be tainted to trigger schizophrenia. It does mess with the brain. People need to be careful. However, filling up prisons with people over smoking pot is ridiculous.

It triggers latent schizophrenia in those so predisposed, yeah. It's not a direct causative effect.

So throwing a whitey's justification for locking up peeps who fancied a high?

Gstar 06-07-2017 09:50 PM

Basically what Dezzy said

Let's not forget cannabis was a legit form of medication in the olden days. People still use it for medicinal purposes today. (Probably already mentioned but cbf reading back)

Obviously not directly but I know kizzy's part of the anti-weed squad. The thing about these arguments against legalising weed is that most of them are rooted in personal bias and subjectivity. It's one thing to not rate drugs as a person but that doesn't hold water when it comes to debating its legality.

I did it in March for the first time in like three years, I did it quite a bit in 2012 - 2013

Things are definitely more fun when they're illegal and before the squares all get involved...............kinda' like Glastonbury. Not that it was ever illegal but it was much more fun before everyone and their nan started going.

I'm not a big smoker but some of my friends are so I always end up smoking it like 3 times a week. I like it but I don't know how people can be constantly high I enjoy being sober to much.
