Once is a mistake but 4 times? Nope.

I don't blame anyone for questioning it, i just think it's a chance some people were waiting for to jump in to grill him

I'm honestly just getting sick of feeling like walking on eggshells everytime I want to say something about him as a HM. Apparently it's 'overbearing' yet everytime the camera goes on him there's reams of posts about him. I get the excitement and everything, but the people saying criticism are apparently the overbearing ones. Hmm.

Steady on Columbo, he hasn't faced a public vote yet

Yeh.. I presumed they werent really meaningful relationships.. like hes gay.. how far can he literally go with a girl? But perhaps im wrong, maybe they were meaningful. Guess id need more info.

So you are bringing up members pasts because you cant take criticism of your friend who is on national TV?

I mean we've got some right twats in there, and people seem to think it's cool to go for Raph, I honestly don't get it as his a great Forum member on here, and his been a likable Housemate so far.

I respect that he's a valuable member that has done a lot on the forum, and is pursuing his dream but that doesn't exempt one from criticism.

"The right twats" haven't acted up yet, when they do I'm sure they will be criticised all the same

People on here have called other member paedophiles in the past, and have wished Celebrities to die (I know jokingly) but over the years I've seen alot worse posted on here that the public would be horrified if they saw it (including from myself tbf) that Raph has never said.

Most of us are judging him as we see him and that is how it should be we are discussing him as a housemate not a forum member

Alf 07-06-2017 10:34 PM

Just jealous of Raph getting plenty of pickle tickle?

Me too

I still support him personally as I like him as a person but as I have been cheated on and know how ****ty it made me feel I will grill him for it as I would any housemate.

Ask yourself if you would be defending any other housemate being grilled for being a serial cheat. I doubt it.

Yeah I agree with this. It's all fine and well excusing it by saying he was only 16 or whatever but it was a conscious decision and became a habit, it seems.

I wouldn't defend what he did, and am a bit baffled by him mentioning it to producers and not expecting them to drop it in an icebreaker task. Thankfully the housemates will have bigger arguments and seemed (oddly) sympathetic to him for being honest.

Just think certain members have been sitting with their hand on the trigger ever since the fanclub was made and he was leaked as a housemate. Digging up posts about Mollie, about being sweety_samy, about COL, about his BBUSA favourites, whatever - so don't act like you're all just discussing him on the show when you've already had posts deleted for screenshotting completely irrelevant stuff to BB18.

smudgie 07-06-2017 10:35 PM

If Raph was living in the same area all the time he was cheating, surely the people he was sleeping around with would have known his reputation.
It's not like he is old enough to have been in long term relationships...or does he just look very young for his age?

Shocking I know.

This Forum doesn't normally care about this sort of stuff to this extent, even when other Housemates have done **** like this.

It's a classic case of building Raph up and then knocking him down.

It's not even subtle either.

He moves around a lot, but I believe it was said that the 3 girlfriends he cheated on was during his high school days. He was young.

Yes lets blame the victims instead. Wow.

Cheats are the most hated type of housemate on here

Eh? I knew nothing about him prior to BB beyond him being friends with Luke.

In fact if me and Raph even posted in the same thread at any time I'd be surprised.

But yeah. I've been waiting for free shots.. ... just because eh?

So they probably knew he was just a player then, not in it for love ever after and all that.

Realistically i probably wouldn't, but i don't personally know any of the other housemates, i wouldn't know if they were being genuine saying things like they were remorseful, whereas i do in this situation

Tbf I've never had a problem with Raph on the forum, like I'm in his fan club now. But he did not come across well on todays show like I can't really see why some people are getting so defensive..

Tbf he does seem to have quite a bit of support on DS and Social Media, his in fact the very definition of controversial rather than unpopular.

And tbf they've mainly got it in their heads that his a Trump supporter rather than knowing what his actually like on here, or even judging him fully on the fact that he's just a normal guy who's playing a game in the house, his not being malicious.

It was and that was years ago and you can regret and feel remorse years later (doesn't mean we condone it) you can make loads of mistakes when you are young.

Yes. We all make mistakes when we're young. No one is perfect.

Just sounds like a load of young people having fun to me.
If they all lived in the same area it must have been a very large area for none of them to know what was going on.

Thing is you can't expect people to fully take a step back and try and see him as a "standard" housemate.. He's always going to be "Raph from TiBB". I certainly don't condone cheating, but I don't condone looking for any excuse to jump on the bandwagon of hate either. As someone who's met him I can vouch for him being a great guy who has changed from those days. It's not like coming out is notorious for being a walk in the park either, is it?
