no, i disagreed big time with Bruno about Ashley, i didn't see the storytelling in her VW, which i was disappointed about, cause it was a very great song choice for VW

i liked Susannah's and Seann's dances more than Ashley that explains why i gave them a higher score

no, it didn't come over natural or genuine, but that's what i overall think of Ashley so far, unlikeable personality

Well Ashley had the joint highest scored dance of the evening for a reason. You carry on staying jealous

Joe was my favourite of the night purely because I expected him to flop big time, but he wasn't actually amazing. Ashley, Charles, Danny and Stacey were also amazing. Faye was good, but I was so tired by that point I didn't really pay much attention :joker:

Joe is my favourite now. That boy sure can dance!

Dr Ranj was a surprise too, and could be an underdog.

My favourite performances not all of them for the right reasons were

Joe was the surprise of the evening for me, i only gave a 7 because for beginners like him, Lauren i find anything above that too high for these early weeks for me personally

i hope Salsa, since that would be a safer choice to go with for week 2 i guess, since she does know some traditional salsa techniques, different from strictly version of the salsa but still, maybe that could be nice some traditional salsa technique and good difficult lifts

I'm still on the fence about Joe. Jive is so different from latin and ballroom I still need to be convinced he can dance. Maybe jive suited him bc he's naturally bouncy and light on his feet. We'll see

i do think Joe suits ballroom better than the party latins, and the sexy rumba, and a Paso where i do find his personality a bit too sweet for to be a quite fierce matador, but if he can prove me wrong well i'll be mentioning that for sure


Lauren and latin dances, well i think she might do well at the faster latins because she's small, and who knows what she can achieve with more training hours, when she already achieved a beautiful waltz from 2 training days

I disagree. Joe strength is in the fast dances. Because he's light on his feet. But i think he could do decent ballroom.

i can see a handsome young gentleman in him, in the waltz, VW, foxtrot :)
