Are you telling me that you weren’t trying to say it was bullying?

I didn't even acknowledge it at the time, because I didn't care. And most of my post you're referring to was on about Alf and LT. I wouldn't necessarily have called it bullying, but it wasn't pleasant behaviour.

Supporting Kamala Harris myself. Interested in Tulsi Gabbard too.

How the hell is Bernie stale and pale?
He is far more progressive than Kamala Harris

You can’t exactly say they were innocent though can you? :skull:

And when you respond to a post asking about bullying by mentioning something that someone said? That is saying that something is bullying, unless stated otherwise

Well I'm responding to what she said, not what you think she means.

I don't agree with the logic, but it's not 'racist'.

Except, he also expressed not wanting a stale, pale, male on the basis of being white, a certain age and male. That's certainly racist, ageist and sexist.

Saying you would prefer to not have another white president really isn't racist sis. In fact, wanting to see more racial variety in the presidential position (which has been filled by almost exlusively white people) is...quite the contrary.

When your first response to discussing an actual candidate, not a hypothetical wish of the type of President, is to say "No thanks they're old, male and white" then it is a problem... sis.

The US is in enough trouble as it is without electing their next President on the basis of skin colour and gender.

If the best candidate to succeed Trump is a white man then so be it. That shouldn't be changed just to provide "racial variety". That's called positive discrimination.

It's both. Excluding an entire race is pretty racist.

We clearly have different conceptions of what racism is. I’m at peace with that.

I don’t know what this means. And I’m not really interested. In your posts.

Glad to see a range of left-leaning Democrats stepping up to the challenge. In all honesty though, as long as the candidate is half-decent, they have a pretty good shot at overthrowing Trump. Just don't go for hillary again........

Honestly, this shouldn't be a priority imo. The policies are far more important, and tokenism won't help to advance the cause of minorities in America. Of course, having the first female president is a nice afterthought, but shouldn't be the primary goal. That kind of thinking is what led to Hilary's selection, and she was an absolutely terrible candidate outside of being a woman. That was literally her only strength and it isn't one that can mobilise enough votes to win the presidency.

if Trump is still the president in 2020 it wont matter a fig who the dems put up, they won't win. All this talk about best candidates is pointless
