She had her children taken away from her December last year for doing exactly what the McCanns' did!

Seems like there's more to her having the child taken away that just this instance - https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/t...son-4-17451048

But the difference with the McCanns, that people don't seem to get, is that yeah it was negligent of them, but they received the ultimate punishment for it.

They still deserve sympathy for what they've gone through. IMO of course

I’d say the the poor little girl who probably suffered god knows what paid the ultimate punishment for it. Her parents are still breathing.

I have no sympathy for her parents because they clearly didn’t get the memo on parenting.

This is from the BBC front pages page, where the pictures are taken from.

Quote:

Many of Friday's newspaper front pages have named and pictured the suspect in the Madeleine McCann case. Because of German privacy law, and the BBC website being accessible in Germany, the BBC has not pictured him.

They deserve empathy...not sympathy. Had they not have left her they may not have gone through it. I would reserve my sympathy for parents who didn't put their children at risk needlessly initially

armand.kay 04-06-2020 11:40 PM

Trolling involves directly harassing someone. People coming for the Mccanns on a dead reality TV forum that they’d probably never come across is not trolling. Like get real :skull:

I agree with you here Annie.

I have myself moved, after listening to the arguments on both sides over the years on here, more to negative thinking on the Parents.

My thoughts also go to the other children who were deprived of their Sister.

Not being able to get to know her and grow up with her.

It's a very sad story however I can't get round leaving children alone in another Country for any reason myself.

It's tragic but tragic for Madeline as no one yet knows and maybe never will know, what trauma that young child went through.

On what grounds would they prosecute exactly? Because regardless of what actually happened to Maddie, THEY left her alone. An indisputable fact, not a lie.

In law Marsh.
You are correct.
There are no grounds for prosecuting in law.

This is one of those issues where many can relate to the pain of losing a child in whatever way Madeline was lost.

Equally many who find the Parents, for not any emergency but only to socialise.
Actually both leaving their children at night alone while they did so.

There's media which have expressed suspicion nearer home.
The Parents were interviewed as possible suspects too at one time.

There has been no court judgements of guilt or innocence as to any possible in this tragic loss of a child.
So nothing to charge anyone for as to having and expressing their opinion.
Immaterial of the side they may lean to.

Some however, who feel strongly as to child neglect will be livid, rightly, with any parents leaving children as young as these were at the time.
For ANY length of time.
May express that more forcefully than others.

If the truth is known ever in the future.
Then any who've made false judgements can apologise if they wish.
If the facts once proven, show the position they took was incorrect.

Nothing to prosecute for at all.

I have had my position changed from talking to those on this site over the years, and doing new assessment of what I originally felt.

bots 05-06-2020 09:09 AM

i think i am correct here in saying that the parents have never at any time said that they made an error in leaving the kids alone (if they have it didn't come across that they took some fundamental responsibility). If they had, I think the public perception would be very different.

arista 05-06-2020 09:35 AM

They had left their kids before
they assumed it was a safe hotel.

That German has broken into Hotels

Don't care....the fact that they regularly left the children makes it worse, not better

Even after Maddie asked where they were the night before she went missing and told them that she had cried because she couldn't find them, imagine your child saying that to you and you still went out?

So it's not illegal to leave a child alone but it is an offence if they are at risk, the very bottom part of the screenshot clearly states what most people know anyway. Not sure how anyone can try to justify that as being a normal or common thing for parents to do

Hmm it would be surprising if he's granted parole I think given he's a repeat offender who has breached his parole conditions in the past

Nah, theres a childcare facility in hotels for a reason why not use it?

It's not safe at all to leave kids alone in hotel rooms or anywhere really whilst the parents go out and have a drink, its neglectful.

It baffles me how anyone can condone leaving three children under 4, at night, in unfamiliar surroundings on the excuse that they thought they would be safe together. Like how? Would the 3 year old know what to do if one of the younger babies threw up? Or start choking? Or just got upset?

Let alone be able to in any way know how to protect them if a paedophile burglar broke in?

I have no words to think in what universe anyone would ever think that it was a good idea to leave them alone once, nevermind multiple nights on holiday

But Josy
that costs extra money

Aaliyah 05-06-2020 11:23 AM

The McCann's could have accidentally killed Madeleine. Watch the Netflix documentary, Kate refused to answer 70+ questions at the immediate stages of the investigation, a sniffer dog smelt blood in their room and in their hire car, and the most weird thing of all is the fact that whilst still on Portugal, they washed Madeleine's teddy! So many weird things that don't add up, they could have accidently drugged her on some sleeping tablets and gave her too much, they are doctors after all but she's a child, makes sense since she was crying the night before as she couldn't find them!

Pay up, stay in or take them out with you....you don't just leave them
