They are on a decline due to finances:(.

Have Chelsea finally turned up vs Liverpool btw? The Kop seem to be a bogey side for them.

And I cannot stand AC Milan, vile club and because of that hideous man Silvio Berlusconi:bored:.

I respect their history, prestige, fanbase and glamour etc though!

Neither side is amazing. Chelsea have just grabbed a goal.

You could both have a point there. However, they'd of won more under Mourinho thus meaning more funds. But, probably yeah, the financial clout still wouldn't of been enough. Doesn't help with money grabbers like Sneijder.

King Gizzard 21-04-2013 03:40 PM

I cannot stand every time Chelsea get a new manager they're immediately to blame when it's all about Roman and JT, mainly

King Gizzard 21-04-2013 03:42 PM

I like too many Italian teams, Fiorentina, Napoli, Inter, Roma, Juve, probably in that order

I agree and no-one has criticised Lampard for how he treated AVB when it was publically outed in the papers.

The players have too much power there and the revolving door of Managers does not help either.

Roman will smugly point to the fact they've still won trophies. However, I don't look at it that way personally.

I still find the Ranieri sacking really unfair. Roman will point to the glory he got with Jose but, Ranieri with a bunch of new players that needed time to gel got them to second spot in the league. Second behind a team that finished unbeaten. And the semi-finals of the Champions League when I believe they had some injury problems. Remember third choice keeper (think he was third choice at that time) Ambrosio playing.

And sacking Ancelotti the day after he sees United win a record 19th title due to longevity.

King Gizzard 21-04-2013 03:46 PM

Ancelotti is probably the biggest travesty

..and probably the next Madrid manager if Jose leaves

MTVN 21-04-2013 03:47 PM

The worst one was getting rid of Big Phil Scolari

King Gizzard 21-04-2013 03:48 PM

:joker: and his coaching team who all had massive tashes

bbfan1991 21-04-2013 03:49 PM

The way they treated Carlo was appaling and I didn't like the way they turned on AVB either, when some of their own players were up to no good and had a scapegoat because their egos got out of control.

Most Liverpool players want Andy Carroll sold, but does anyone think they should give him a second chance? He is very physical and look at his United performance, so they could do with a different style up front to compliment Suarez (if he stays), more firepower is needed for them too of course.

Locke. 21-04-2013 03:49 PM

So poor, most of them look like they don't give a ****. Even at his lowest last season Henderson didn't play this crap.

Sturridge is needed right now.

Yeah, I was thinking about him. All of them have been rather harsh sackings when you look at it. Avram Grant even. I know he was only interim but he did a good job. Took over a team that aren't his players and gets them to second and loses a Champions League final on penalties.

Roman should just take charge.

I heard from a reporter ages back the only manager he'd give full control to is Pep Guardiola. Laughable.

I'd give him a chance personally. Only because of that ridiculous amount spent on him. With Brenton's way of player though, big Andy could be on his way.

bbfan1991 21-04-2013 03:51 PM

I wonder what will happen with Cristiano Ronaldo if Mourinho leaves, the Portugese lot get a hostile reception at Madrid sometimes because obviously the Spanish clique there have too much power:suspect:.

King Gizzard 21-04-2013 03:51 PM

AVB getting the blame for trying to fade out Terry, Cole, Lampard when that was the remit given to him was a load of ****, treated way too harshly

Yes them two too. Chelsea are a joke and Roman Abramovich is such an impatient man trying to get his input in the footballing decisions.

Roman is now a father for the seventh time, his wife is pretty too I must add judging by the pictures in the paper;).

And Lampard is still set to be let go this summer. :joker:

bbfan, hinting at Ronaldo back to United? I wish. :(

I do hope that CR7 comes back to United before he retires, he was adored at United and he was so happy there more than he is at Madrid I think now he has seen that it is not all a bed of roses there.

When I read of what he does for charity etc it does make me think how sometimes he is unfairly judged as a person, if people dislike him as a footballer then fair enough but in interviews I have seen etc he seems nice enough to me.

Yeah, totally different off the pitch. I still think his ego came from all the people saying he was a one trick pony and Fergie should get rid. Papers deeming a 19 year old (18 when we signed him but soon turned 19) a flop. :joker:

And of course the World Cup fiasco.

Also just checked out Roman's wife, not half bad.

Nobody can compare to Irina when it comes to Russian women though, for me.

Big picture.

bbfan1991 21-04-2013 04:04 PM

Liverpool close there, they have started well in the second half.
