Mel B has the strongest category I would say,however as much as they sang really good as to the songs they sung, I really don't like songs like 'Bridge over Troubled water' and 'Earth Song' butchered as to length.

They are songs that need to build up as to the atmosphere around the intense lyrics of both, they lose their magic when shortened so massively as on X Factor.

Overall a good show to be fair and another mention 'Only The Young' brought a fresh feel to the 2 songs they put together.
I loved Chloe Jasmine and I would love her to win however.

My rankings of tonight's performances.

1. Lauren Platt - Apart from the annoying balloons towards the end she actually did very well vocally and being intriguing at the same time.

2. Andrea Faustini - He may have opened up a little too strong here in the vocal department, the only flaw I had with his performance is that he dodged all the high notes, other than that it was a great way to close the show.

3. Only The Young - Mel B needs to have more fun, OTY was great fun and they all actually harmonized as a group unlike the two pathetic boybands tonight.

4. Jay James - I know that a lot of people on here don't like him, but if you're being fair he was actually not too bad tonight, he had some fun, his vocal was less strained than usual, and he didn't sound karaoke to me so yipee on that.

5. Fleur East - She's not a great vocalist, but she's a very good performer imo, her and OTY will be needed for the fun performances without being joke acts imo.

6. Jack Walton - An okay start, but not a breakout like most of his type do in the first week, maybe around week 3 or 4 will be his time to shine.

7. Ben Haenow - He was a bit flat at the start of the song, and tbh I just can sense that Simon was favouring Jay over Ben tonight with the song choices.

8. Blonde Electra - I kinda liked them in a joke act sort of way, imo they're way more funny than Stevi Ritchie.

9. Jake Quickenden - A bit distinctly average.

10. Stereo Kicks - It was very boyband by the numbers, it was very boring.

11. Lola Saunders - Sam Bailey's back in the girls category, ironically Lola and Paul should've had the song choices role reversed.

12. Paul Akister - His got a good voice normally, but that song just was not for him, he strained and it just didn't work for me.

13. Chloe Jasmine - She did try to not be karaoke by carbon copying the song so kudos to her on that, but she made it so mind numbingly dull and screechy that I dock her a lot in my placings tonight.

14. Stevi Ritchie - The best part was the backing dancers, Stevi however came off as really pathetic to watch.

15. Steph Nala - The only positive for Steph is that she's pretty, away from that it's all negatives for me.

16. Overload Generation - I can't be bothered to review these as they could do a **** on stage and still get votes.
