Prince Harry has urged US citizens to "reject hate speech" and vote in the country's upcoming presidential election.
He made the remarks alongside his wife, Meghan, in a US television broadcast. A spokesperson for the couple said the comments did not refer to any specific political party or candidate, but were instead "a call for decency". Voting for the next US president, with candidates including Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden, is on 3 November. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared in a live video in what appeared to be their California home as part of the Time 100 - a list compiled by Time magazine to celebrate the world's most influential people. It was their first joint TV appearance since they ceased being working members of the Royal Family in March. "As we approach this November, it's vital that we reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity," the duke said as he sat on a bench alongside Meghan. He also reminded Americans to be discerning in the content they consumed online. "When the bad outweighs the good, for many, whether we realise it or not, it erodes our ability to have compassion and our ability to put ourself in someone else's shoes," he said. "Because when one person buys into negativity online, the effects are felt exponentially. It's time to not only reflect, but act." The 36-year-old duke said he would not be voting in the election because he was not a US citizen, adding that he had never voted in UK elections either. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-54257450 Keeping a low profile as usual :hehe: |
Eh. Mrs Windsor is American, so of course she has an opinion about the election.

I love the way they’ve said to reject hatred and people have automatically gone ‘they’re telling people to vote against Trump, silence them!!’
Like, at least people seem to know what he is |
One thing i like about trump is he doesn't wear sunglasses...unlike biden who thinks hes tom cruise.

Nothing Wrong with Not liking her as She Attacked Trump First. |

i won't complain but i think if everything goes fair and square, it will be a very close call but this is just my opinion Biden with almost the same support what Obama had, and Trump with his hardcore fanbase |

Arista fighting for Trumps honour.

She’s allowed to tell people to vote, it’s very telling though that she says to reject hatred and people naturally assume she’s attacking Trump, is shows what people really think of him |

I think he's got you there, Arista.

How anyone can talk down trumps obvious play for autonomy is unbelievable. .. Surely even the reddest necks won't go for that in the US?
