i thought it was meant to be left unknown but she was presumably dead
|
In the book apparently she was rescued by Hermione and lived. There wasn't anything about him eating her :S
oh and wtf happened to Neville and the hat being set on fire <_< |
I'm pretty sure her neck was wide open...
|
And why did Hermione chuck a stone at Nagini.
And how stupid are Goblins. Stupid Goblins. |

Do the films look like they're in the 90's to anyone else? I don't think they did that much. Although I guess most are at Hogwarts at all that

Where did Hermione get Bellatrix's garb from? When they all used the Polyjuice Potion in part 1 Moody had to bring along a sack of Harry clothes :suspect:.
|
They didn't show much of the wizarding equivalent of H&M or River Island.

Borgin & Burkes do a mail order catalogue, don't they?
I love the Magic Is Might Winter 97 collection. |

I wish the Ravenclaw common room scene with Amycus Carrow spitting on McGonagall had been left in. It was so descriptive in the book and I was looking forward to seeing the Ravenclaw common room on screen, but I'm glad that McGonagall still got plenty of airtime. The Carrow's had no lines at all, I didn't think they would seeing as they weren't established characters but just one line would have been nice. I also thought that they tried to insert humour too much at some points. Like Ron when Ginny entered saying about Franky Forsyth or something like that was a clear attempt to make people laugh when it wasn't really needed. Another thing that bugged me was that Wormtail never got closure. He never died in Part 1 and wasn't seen in Part 2. I don't see why they couldn't have him strangle himself in Part 1 like he does in the book, that way all the Marauders would have died. |
Anyone notice that the Grand staircase didn't move in this film? It was much wider too, saying that I noticed lots of changes to Hogwarts between the first six films and this one.
|
I agree Callum I mean if they're going to show death scenes like Lavendar's and Dobby's then they might as well have shown Wormtail's.
And yes the stairs moving could've made the snake scene better. I can see why people were angry at the film not being the book |
Also the humour wasn't needed at all, it's supposed to be a dark film, maybe if Ron had a joke here and there because that's his character but that's it.
And Emma & Rupert are in their twenties now surely they should make an on screen kiss seem more believable? It was kinda like 'ahhhhhhhhh! Kiss' |

I must be blind, I thought it was Colin Creevey that got attacked by Fenrir.
|
The kiss wasn't good at all. You could see them both just burst out laughing after, looked like an outtake or something.

I thought the kiss was nice. It could have been all soppy and dramatic but it was nice, sudden and energetic. The moment, the camera angle, everything about it was just fine.
|
I agree, this kiss was good but the one in the half blood prince was eww
|
waittttt
your on about the ron/hermionie one? |
