So is Mary Poppins going to collect all of the Doctor's enemies over the series?

GypsyGoth 23-08-2014 08:16 PM

I didn't think I'd like it with the new doctor, the only one I've ever watched is the matt smith one, but I loved it. I got used to him pretty fast, however what made the ep for me was having the others in it.

Donna teas.

Well according to the press that is not going to happen...

Jenna is leaving at Christmas

Sticks 23-08-2014 09:13 PM

I see they have redone the titles

I don't like it...

Irrelevant to the story. She's here for the duration of series 8. Mirrors Donna/Doctor, she was only around 1 series.

Someone missed the joke :joker:

I thought that was a fantastic first episode, it was so nice not to have an episode based around the Doctor running from A to B knowing every single thing in existance. The writing for Clara seems to have improved too.

Rob! 24-08-2014 03:29 AM

Capaldi :clap1: :clap1: :clap1:

Don't normally like Clara (because her character development has been a ****ing mess since the start tbf) but she was great tonight.

Omg at daleks next week. :amazed:

Marsh. 24-08-2014 03:30 AM

I'll have to rewatch. Moffat episodes still lose me halfway through.

It'll probably click into place in 2017, I think I just about get series 5 now.

This tbh I'm only now understanding the "a good man goes to war" dramaz.

It'll take about as long as Matt smith's death in the Xmas special to work out the plot from halfway through series 6 onwards.

I think Moffat is the only person who gets what's going on.

Marsh. 24-08-2014 03:43 AM

I can't believe he's doing another two series.

My brain is tired at the thought.

Marsh. 24-08-2014 03:43 AM

Or has BB dumbed me down? D:

armand.kay 24-08-2014 03:45 AM

Not Bianca leaving us brain dead

Joelle. 24-08-2014 03:47 AM

I watched it tonight for the first time since David Tennant and really enjoyed it

I agree about Steven Moffat though, Sherlock is the same sometimes it always loses me in the middle. Hes not as clever as he thinks he is tbh

armand.kay 24-08-2014 03:51 AM

I still can believe the Christmas episode actually made it on air. Can someone pls explain.

Marsh. 24-08-2014 03:54 AM

He went to a town called Christmas and then he was old. :umm2:

That's literally all I got but I was drunk and found it comical at the time.

armand.kay 24-08-2014 03:55 AM

It's not a show you can watch with the family anymore because every 2 seconds it's "what's going on"
