I've rarely checked in with this season, so what did Christie, Jackson and Nick say that made Kemi pick them out in particular? Jack - I understand because I watched his exit interview.

Honestly, nothing particularly derogatory (the worst I remember is Jackson being like "lol imagine if she's watching this screaming at the TV with her mouth bleeding like Bayleigh") but they just NEVER stopped talking about her. Like, that Kemi/Bayleigh comment was made at the end of August and Kemi was a Week 2 boot. There's a lot of intrigue to the whole Kemi situation because she was already ostracized by the time the feeds came on but we never got any legitimate information about anything that happened before the feeds started other than that she dissed Jack/Jackson's cooking once and generally comes off as aloof and distant. But they would continually find ways to shoehorn Kemi into conversations and it was tiring.

THAT BEING SAID, the race thing is like........ definitely overdone tremendously by stan Twitter. There were definitely some small microagressions and comments made, but nothing out of the ordinary for a BBUS season. Basically, Camp Comeback forced three minorities to effectively live in an internment camp and it was terribly bad optics, and then a bunch of the fanbase started to pull "evidence" of racism out of context mainly in the spirit of confirmation bias. A bunch of minorities were targeted early on, the internet got upset as usual, but then for some reason this summer they decided to go on a ****ing witch hunt and post random feeds clips and be all "SEE?!?!?!?! THEY *ARE* RACIST!!!!!"

If you ask me, they completely missed the mark with Jackson because I would've been more interested in hearing about the misogyny thing because oh my god does he have a ****ing bizarre women complex to him. And food, but that's probably more or less a binge-eating disorder that he should just get some help for.

Anyway I enjoyed this season! I actually think one of the things I liked most about it was that it felt very pure, sure there were twists but none of them were convoluted or lasted for ages? For the most part the game was allowed to play out naturally and it was refreshing :clap1:

Just rewatched the finale and honestly the part where Momchie is reassuring Michie that he's not racist as Alison Grodner's name comes up in the credit roll is a piece of cinematic art and it was easily the most gripping finale since like.... possibly BB4?

HOT TAKE this season is very good and proooobably better than 20 whoops! The cast on its own isn't particularly likable but they bounced off of each other really well, the gameplay slowly became very fluid and unpredictable to the point where there was a possible path to victory for everyone left in the final six, there was a perfect blend of personal drama and game-related drama, and the worst weeks of the show were in the beginning so once you got past the Camp Comeback stuff things just took off and never looked back. I was really apprehensive of have a full week for F5 *and* a full week for F4 but this cast even made them both work somehow?!?! The last time I was actually watching feeds all the way through was 17 but this season had me hooked all the way through with Holly's descent into madness at F5 but somehow avoiding eviction due to Jackson's Lie and then Cliff's descent into madness at F4 as he got ****ing DUPED by Jackson :love: I got on my soapbox earlier in Discord about how everyone dropped this show fast as hell bc of ****ing Kemi of all people but it really is y'alls loss because I'm almost ready to say that BBUS is becoming good again?!?!?!

Now that I just spoke it into existence, 22 is surely going to be horrible :) but seriously once you get past the Camp Comeback bull**** this season becomes super easy to watch and the feeds were equally good too!

They did talk about Nicole and Holly so maybe it's just whatever link you watched it on. The highlight was JUROR SIS openly having disdain for all of them and taking umbrage with any compliment thrown at any of the F3 :love:

Why are networks still talking about that n word scene between Jack & Jackson? :joker: Like was it legit then or what? I know news & talk shows aren't always that reliable but geez it's really bad if they're spreading that without knowing the facts (assuming the original clip was misheard/edited which I thought was the case).
