Arsenal Set For Glory This Season - Arsene Wenger
Frenchman insists Young Gunners will end wait for silverware this term... Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is confident that the club's wait for a trophy will be ended this season, as his team of young talents finally blossoms into the finished article. And the Frenchman also turned down the chance to work for Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer, because he believes that something special is being built at the Emirates Stadium. "I have a great respect for Real Madrid, it is the club of my childhood. But I am involved in a project at Arsenal," he told The News of the World. "We have developed our style. There is a close bond with the players. That creates a responsibility. "I predict the fulfilment of a dream this season. We have not won a title [since the FA Cup] for four years now, but in those four years we have come very close, again and again, to winning the English Premier League and even the Champions League. "I think the team is now reaching maturity. And a team performance can create something magical. If that works and the entire team is electrified, it's fantastic." Wenger became Arsenal's longest serving manager last week, celebrating his thirteenth anniversary in charge of the club. The French coach has no intentions of retiring just yet, and will not speculate as to who his eventual successor might be. "I will not nominate my successor. I have a very strong relationship with this club but it is important that everyone does what they are paid to do and my job is not to pick the next manager," he added. "If I am asked my opinion, then I will give it. But I do not want to be seen as a shadow on the next manager. "I would like to leave the club in fantastic shape and give the next man the opportunity to do even better than I have done. "I want to leave a team behind that has potential and not a team which has no good players in it. "I want to leave behind a club in a good financial situation, with a proper structure in place which is geared towards performing to an even higher level in the next 10-15 years. "Standing on the sideline I often look like an iceberg because I have learned to control my emotions. "But when everything harmonises, I am passionate. I call it the team's soul - if that is in order, anything is possible." |

They showed first half highlights.. Dunno if its the save your talking about i saw him make a good save but he was pretty much right infront of it.. and it just kinda hit him really. Other than that no amazing saves. |
It was amazing, he had move amazingly fast from a laying position to cover the ground, it hit him but he covered the ground and got his body in the way. Amazing save.
|
Ohh i havent seen replays on it, but it didnt look like the best ever.

One of the best ive seen
Not all saves have to be massive dives to the top corner..in fact sometimes theyre easy cause you see it from long off |
FFS another international break :@

Real got 1 - 1 now.
This save i just saw was also good, start of the second half sevilla player has a shot, he traveled quite far to cover the goal like his dive but sevilla player did shoot it right at him... |

Fabergas was brillant, walcott scores on his game back and Velmann scores again Liverpool don't look good right now |
