Oh yeah, I've seen people say that. The theory I read suggests that Charles is her child from her pregnancy scare we saw in Season 3 flashbacks, and that Big A might be the father (aka Beach Hottie), and Alison has kept them apart.

Though, I'd still rather A's motivation have more to do with Bethany.

Board Shorts, yes. I don't think they ever clarified that he was Beach Hottie (or if they were even the same person). Actually, what we currently know suggests they're definitely not.

She named Ezra Board Shorts because of the ale he drank, Beach Hottie is the guy she met at Cape May and (supposedly) slept with.

Yeah, him and Wilden were always my main Beach Hottie suspects.

He's actually my main A suspect in general, but I'd rather his motivation centre around Bethany (I like the idea of A being someone who cared about her).
