I kind of like people who are there to make trouble and mischief(perfect insider person) and he was disgusted with Dino so he isn;t all bad.

Asian Night on FNL and Mike Goldman goes (in an accent) "Herro, welcome to Asian Night on Fliday Night Live!". Just imagine the Ofcom complaints over here. :joker::joker:

Just watched the Turkey Slap Incident....
Spoiler:

Had no idea who was going to be involved in it - poor Camilla </3 Glad John and Ashley got ejected over it. They were really annoying even before the incident so it makes their ejection even more justifiable.

It's crazy how much news coverage it got, it's cool that the uploader was able to get a hold of all the news show clips reacting to it, puts it all into context more clearly of just how massive it was.

Headie 20-04-2016 12:54 AM

Wow... these news stories about the incident are really coming down hard on the show, calling for it to be axed forever. This is like the equivalent of the CBB Race Row over here in the UK. It's tainted the franchise completely.

Also I can't believe the Adults Only eps were axed early in the series for inappropriate content... isn't that the point? No wonder BBAUS feels so much like a "kiddies" version of Big Brother... the Aussie press would have a field day with our BBUK!

Interesting point from A Current Affair's coverage on it... BB set the "kiss all the HMs" secret task for one HM and they point out that unwanted kisses are also a form of assault.

Honestly though all these uptight white men in suits giving TV interviews calling for the show to be axed clearly don't watch the show anyway... they're amking out like incidents like this happen every episode.

Shame on both boys's parents victim-blaming the girl involved though.

From a selfish point of view though
Spoiler:

I hope this propels Camilla to the win like it did Shilpa

Lostie! 20-04-2016 01:13 AM

I'm on that episode now, haven't got to the incident yet though.

Spoiler:

The boys stealing the chair from the Diary Room though :joker:

Turkey slap :worry:

Lostie! 20-04-2016 02:58 AM

Spoiler:

Week 10: Ashley & John Removed / Gaelan Evicted:

1. Camilla
2. Perry
3. Claire
4. Krystal

5. Gaelan
6. Darren

7. Ashley
8. David
9. John
10. Jamie

What Ashley and John did was obviously really stupid but having finally watched the series after hearing about this for years, I think all the "sex assault" outrage was definitely sensationalized. It was a stupid, ill-advised joke that crossed a line, Camilla herself was laughing at the time and still joking with them both directly afterwards. I don't think treating them like rapists or something was necessary.

They deserved to be removed because they breached the rules but I think a lot of the furore afterwards lost a lot of perspective for the sake of a juicy media storm.

I felt awful for Camilla when she broke down and felt guilty for their removals when she did nothing wrong. </3[

I'm so perched for the intruders

LukeB 20-04-2016 01:19 PM

Michael's Ruben story makes me laugh :laugh2:

LukeB 20-04-2016 01:31 PM

Ive heard the 2007 season is known for being boring and predicable :worry: might give that a miss (even though 7 is meant to be a good season number too)

Lostie! 20-04-2016 01:36 PM

I've seen a few weeks, it's fine tbh. But it was probably a little more vanilla after 4, 5 and 6, all of which I believe had more notable moments / housemates.

LukeB 20-04-2016 01:36 PM

I'm appreciating Anna a lot more

Gretel's last season </3

Lostie! 20-04-2016 02:29 PM

Spoiler:

Krystal's really disappointing me now. I've had issues with David but her jumping up and down laughing at the idea of him being upset and walking out is really crappy. I'm seeing the whole "falsely nice / hidden mean girl" thing that other housemates have mentioned now. Camilla's being irritating too. It's funny that Perry was the one who had the argument with David that provoked his breakdown but she had more decency and sympathy about it than those two did.

Good on Claire for standing apart from the cattiness.

LukeB 20-04-2016 02:30 PM

Michael's secret has been revealed... that long beep :omgno:

Krystal's disgusted look

everyone is fuming with Michae's baby story :joker:

LukeB 20-04-2016 02:52 PM

I only like Danielle and Jade from the intruders

Lostie! 20-04-2016 03:03 PM

Rob > Danielle

LukeB 20-04-2016 03:04 PM

Rob seems annoying.

Spoiler:

Week 11: Perry Evicted:

1. Camilla
2. Claire
3. Perry

4. Darren
5. David
6. Krystal
7. Jamie

Krystal was really annoying this week, definitely saw a side to her I don't like at all. Camilla was irritating too but she and David have had a turbulent friendship all series and randomly clashing is one of their "things", Krystal getting in on the act and deciding to get the claws out was unnecessary. Also Camilla is generally hilarious and has been the standout housemate of the series so I'm more forgiving of her.
