Happy for Villa too. Grealish is absolute quality. He will shine at any of the top 6 imo.

Interesting to see the three BT Sport pundits saying he’d be a great fit for ManU ... after the game .

I can see him on the left side of Pogba and Fernandes ..

You don't have to be a Birmingham fan to be able to tell that Grealish is a diver.:joker:

I mean he is a decent player for Villa, but his constant diving will be very costly to any of the top 6 and Arsenal.

Personally I'm just happy that we survived being relegated from the Championship this season, plus I do know Villa supporters in my personal life who I felt sorry for as they were ****ting their brick about yesterday's matches so I'm happy for them that Villa stayed up. Plus Watford self destructed so I do lose sympathy for them to some extent.

Booked once in his career for diving, and it wasn’t even a dive. Vast difference between diving and just being that good that he invites the foul nearly every single time he gets the ball.

Quite confident we can get him to stay now if we offered him huge wages but I don’t begrudge him a move. we have the third richest owners in the country so it’s going to take something ludicrous for someone to take him, only think United or City can prize him away.

Might be biased but he’s just not overrated in any sense of the term. Best Villa player in my lifetime. Just on a completely other level to Maddison, Mount and any other English midfielder in his position.

Bet we don’t retire the number 10 like those small time Charlie’s down the road :hehe:

Denver 27-07-2020 11:50 AM

Clearly you didn't see him stamp on a players foot and throw himself to the floor clutching his ankle the other week

Cherie 27-07-2020 12:11 PM

Someone had a 66/1 bet on Jesse Lingard not to score all season ...

that must have been a killer :joker:

Bournemouth seeking compensation after The goal Shef Utd had ruled out against Villa is why they are relegated.

The villa GK took the ball into his own net but no goal was given

The Slim Reaper 28-07-2020 11:49 AM

Have to say fair play to Moyes. He's always been a bit of a joke figure to me, but he did a good job this season.

I think it's a joke. Birmingham are taking legal action because villa stayed up. Adams delivery was a bit off.

Denver 28-07-2020 12:04 PM

it was meant to say Bournemouth but auto corrected into Birmingham which I don't know why

Because we're gonna finish higher than Bournemouth next season.:hehe:

Even I know that's delusional, but I will definitely quote this post if it happens.:joker:

That's such a clear goal, but it is easy to say when you are watching from a good angle and through a clear video.

But even then it's clearly seen that the goalie took the ball into his own net.

They have goal line technology that was apparently not working

That's my hope too Mock.
Higher than many other teams too.

I hope the shock of where this last season ended for us, will really bring about some great turnaround.

Birmingham had 14 draws last season.
Put aside the 20 defeats.
Just one more goal in around half of those draws would have them nearer where they ought to be.

I'm trying to hold onto positivity, hoping from the start, Birmingham come out determined to not even risk being where they ended up last season.
Never mind be in that position.

I'm gonna try and be optimistic as well Joey. Especially with Karanka as the boss now.

Yes, on paper his looks a good appointment.
I hope he gets the right support from the club itself.

Me too Joey.

We also have to hope that the second wave of Covid doesn't stop the season before it's even started as that might mean uncertainty over when he'll actually manage a game for the club.
