I know! I thought it was over and there was like another 45 minutes to go. Great though.

It's basically two films in one. But it's a good movie. Nicole Kidman's a great actress.

Last one I watched was Network

Love Network Rory. It still packs a punch now.

I saw Up in the Air over the Xmas holidays and I thought it was a brilliantly executed film, one belonging to our era and has actually a real chance of becoming a timeless classic. Reminded me of Jerry Maguire but without the syrup.

It was amazing in terms of visuals, there's no doubt about that, but I need more in a movie for it to bowl me over. Did you watch it in 3 d? I saw it in an Imax... fecking spectacular looking.

Superstar

Starring Molly Shannon, movie version of an SNL character. was decent... lol.

setanta 06-01-2010 01:08 PM

(500) Days of Summer. Quirky, offbeat and elevated by the charm of the two leads, this was a very entertaining and affecting little story on love.

HeatherTWx 06-01-2010 01:25 PM

Wildchild! :)
Love that film.

Many people have been saying it lacked a story line... but when I watched it I really enjoyed the story line. And that is coming from someone who is very picky with films.

I watched Me, Myself and Irene earlier. I must have seen it about 3,000 times but it never get's old haha.

Nah, it was dog poo on the narrative side of things. Very stale and tired with nothing creative or interesting involved. Just an excuse for the spectacle unfortunately.

I just watched 'Mean Girls' for the 10th time. It was so fetch :D

Braden 06-01-2010 05:43 PM

Dead Calm, it was so **** !

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest - for about the 50th time - EPIC film.

setanta 06-01-2010 06:26 PM

The Cove. Excellent documentary on the plight of dolphins in Japanese waters, where they are systematically killed in the most brutal of manners. The whole thing plays like a little thriller, with the activists attempting to capture live footage of the deaths, while being blocked, pursued and even imprisoned by fishermen, police and the government at every single juncture.

Watched 50 First Dates earlier. Brilliant movie. Seen it like 20 times.

MrGaryy 06-01-2010 07:14 PM

In Bruges.

Wow :| Not sure whether to laugh or cry.

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans

This film will definitely not be suited to everyone's tastes but I found it's seedy, wild energy and maniacal lead performance from Nicholas Cage -back to his best here- thoroughly engaging. A nutty, mental movie that you'll probably either love or hate. I loved it.
