i just found out kim crowther is stepping down aparently it happened ages ago lmao
does anyone know when she quit?

She announced it in November, the day after she did the live chat/Tony handed himself in :p

She will be stepping down for good in the Spring, but she is working with Phil Collinson (new producer, he produced Dr. Who a few years back) now for the handover period :]

I loved Karen in it. I think she played a really good part.

what do the producers actually do for the show??

They point the show in the direction they want it, they decide how the show should run, they decide the storylines along with writers, they pretty much run the show

For example, Kim Crowther became producer became producer and wanted to give the show more of a "film" look than what the show was when Steve Frost was producer, when Steve Frost was producer, it was very much a Northern soap, which is what I miss

I dont think Sarah will be back either, for that reason, Danny might return though...one other person I would love to see back is Jim McDonald :D

yea hed be good but i think theyd need a really good reason because they do keep bringing him back evrey six months or so now
if they bring him back it should be for a much longer period. I think id like to see Wiki come back she was really sweet, but never heard of again =P
or ronnie (Steves ex) she could throw a spanner in the works for becky and steve

Danny could easily be tied to the factory, perhaps buying Tony's share :P its a shame Wiki has been axed though, what happened to Ronnie in the end?

i thik she went to jail for a couple of years for trying to frame steve.
I think angela harris should have come back to the street last year aswell, thats wen she was due out anyway, even if just for one episode

yea keith went to cornwall or some random place and craig went to germany no one seemed to care really did they lmao. Youd have craig could have kept in touch with rosie. You never know he may be back he hasnt done anything big since leaving his pop career sorta floped

yea they had a huge bust up, it was all over the papers, they are really bitter towardsone another now so i doubt they'll be working together any time soon

probably that'll be a really good storyline once it gets going, i can imagine herhaving cat fights with leanne and carla too :D
