Leon and Jill would be my ideal combo team for a future game

Honestly I found Leon a little bland in this where Claire has more personality

Bioshock 2.

I quite like the game so far, it's a shame that it doesn't seem to get more love.

Hogs of war with the brilliant Rik mayall doing the voices.

I've never played a Dragon Quest game, but if you want a really good RPG game to play then you should play Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call/Nocturne if you haven't already played the game as it's brilliant imo. And rock hard too without being too unforgiving like some games can be in my view.

You can get the game on the PSN for your PS3 Console if you're interested in checking it out.

I've beaten Bioshock 2 btw, a really good game imo, not as good as 1 but I did like the game and the Big Sister's were horrible to fight.:joker:

Playing through DMC5 again with the "live action" cutscenes turned on... it's a ****ing scream :joker:

I do remember liking that game as a kid.

I was rubbish at it though.

I started playing LA Noire for the first time the other day and it was the most boring thing I’ve ever done, didn’t grab me at all. :skull:

How many levels did you do?

The Game is quite slow paced so you have to dig in a bit to get to the most exciting levels imo.

Why does this look like it was filmed in a school gym hall

I think it might have been. They also sometimes use action figures (which appear to ALL be Dante :joker: ) to represent people flying through the air, etc.

Oh and the bird demon thing is... a guy stood on a chair flapping his arms like a bird. It's amazing. Best film ever.

I'm playing Bioshock: Infinite at the moment.

I quite like the Game tbh, it has a good atmosphere and it's quite good to have a main character that can talk and has some more character development.

The only complaint that I would have with the game is that it doesn't feel like a Bioshock game to me, but the game is very well made so I can let it slide.

I do miss the Big Daddy/Little Sister storyline though.

user104658 28-03-2019 03:54 PM

So I'm nearly finished DMC5 on "Dante Must Die" difficulty any I dunno what I'm going to play next :worry:. Help.

That said I'm not convinced I'll actually finish because I struggled with Vergil on Son Of Sparda and not entirely convinced I'll be able to beat him this time :umm2:. I haven't even got there yet but I know it'll be a ****show :bawling:. I got through the whole of Son of Sparda without using a Gold Orb so I had something like 16 when I started that battle, and 9 when I finished. Shame, shame, shame... I just can't seem to dodge him effectively and I have no idea why goddamnit.

Mystic Mock 05-04-2019 11:54 AM

Well I beat Bioshock: Infinite a few days back and that level with the Songbird to try and have it attack the Ships was the most difficult level in the franchise imo, really really tough. A great game though and they had a very interesting storyline I thought, although I'm still more of a Bioshock 1 as I loved the Rapture scenery in the first game, and stuff like Fontaine, Ryan, the Little Sisters, and the Big Daddy were iconic enemies in the first game imo that the other two just couldn't quite recapture again, although they were still enjoyable and I'd actually say that I'm surprised that Bioshock 2 doesn't get more loving off the fandom as it added some Horror undertones to itself I thought which gave it it's own vibe.

I'm playing Plague INC: Evolved on a more casual basis at the moment, it's quite good actually for a cheap priced game, I'm trying to do the Dawn Of The Apes mode though which is rock solid imo.

And I somehow beat Vectorman 1 yesterday on the Sega Megadrive Classics on the PS4, I say somehow as it was my first day playing it and I was getting killed on every level.:joker:

The second form of Warhead has to be one of the worst boss encounters of all time imo as it's hard to evade his attacks.

A great game overall with really quirky and fun levels, with the exception of Rock & Roller as that level just didn't really make much sense to me, and even when you realise what you've got to do, it's almost impossible to achieve it as the controls are clunky as hell on the level, and the boss doesn't really leave you alone at any point to be able to retain your health.

How have you been doing on the game over the last few days?

I finished Dante Must Die but as I expected I ended up just spamming gold orbs (for devil form) on that final boss which makes it feel like a hollow victory :joker:. Maybe one day! Probably just need to be more tactical and less aggressive I think.

Congratulations! A win is a win afterall.

And tbh I don't think that I could beat any game on hard or nightmare modes:joker: so you've done well imo.

DMC5 is literally just mainly learning how not to get hit at all in terms of beating the higher difficulties. Dante = jump and dodge a lot, Nero = keep yourself and enemies in the air as much as possible, V = keep your distance and spam Area Effect abilities. I also had the benefit of the combat being similar to Nier Automata which was pretty much my life for 4 months a couple of years ago :joker:.

You're very good at learning the strategy of the game.

Finally got a copy of Injustice 2 (inspired by the MK11 thread) and happy to say it's just as daft and over-the-top as the original :joker:. Annoyingly there's a glitch of some sort in the PC version that makes the game constantly freeze for a couple of seconds when fighting using / against Donkey Kong Grodd but that's my only minor gripe. Makes multiplayer against anyone using him impossible BUT against the computer AI (storyline, etc) it's actually a tactical advantage against him if you use it right because it still registers input while frozen, but only activates the move when it unfreezes, so it gives you a second or two to "plan" a landing or a combo. "It's not a bug, it's a feature!"

The original Inazuma Eleven game.

This franchise imo is more enjoyable than any recent FIFA or PES game imo.

I'm doing it! I'm finishing Persona 5! I solemnly swear not to play any other games until the deed is done.

Although despite the piss poor ratings I keep seeing gameplay videos of Days Gone and I'm oddly tempted...
