It would make sense what with the whole Renee slapping Miz and Maryse slapping her but it just kind of fizzled... Oh well.

You went crazy for that.
Royal Rumble winners should 90% of the time win the belt.

Every other match the younger guy went over, bar Cena and even then that is a 3 year gap.

And a young guy beat arguably the greatest character in Wrestling Entertainment history for the main event, yet he was booed out the building...Vince can't win really.

Because there is half a dozen guys more worthy

LaLaLand 03-04-2017 10:17 PM

To be fair I think whoever was in Roman's position last night would have been booed though, nobody wants Taker to lose at Mania no matter how obviously worn out he is.

Black Dagger 03-04-2017 10:18 PM

LOL @ how people fantasy booked Finn doing it. ****ing Finn.

Denver 03-04-2017 10:18 PM

Me personal i think Rollins should be the face of the company after Cena or Maybe Bray

Finn is universally loved and has more likeability and a way better and more entertaining set of moves.

Plus Demon vs Demon would have been fantastc

Black Dagger 03-04-2017 10:23 PM

I mean. Roman comes across as a great person off screen so this likeability thing you keep spouting is nonsense really.

Black Dagger 03-04-2017 10:24 PM

And the Demon King gimmick is actually garbage, but I'll save that rant for another day.

Denver 03-04-2017 10:25 PM

He doesnt come across as a likeable person on screen and doesnt come across as a role model.

I dont really care for someone who only has 3 or 4 moves

It really isnt though it is iconic and something totally different but not trashy

Black Dagger 03-04-2017 10:26 PM

lmao @ role model.

Well to take over as the face from Cena you need to have kids look up to you and be a role model

Black Dagger 03-04-2017 10:30 PM

I mean he's the second biggest merch seller, so he's clearly doing something right with them?

Denver 03-04-2017 10:31 PM

That doesnt make you a role model

Denver 03-04-2017 10:32 PM

He will literally get like the Rock and quit for movies in years to come

If they want to wear his shirts why does it matter.

"Hey Vince, reward the younger guys ffs"

"Ok"

"No, not him. Someone else"

Vince knows those people are going to complain regardless. It's just like when Daniel Bryan had just had his WM moment and yet there was a meltdown from those guys that he couldn't do it again for WM31 instead of a new fresh Reigns that had people crying over the fact he lost to Batista in the Royal Rumble match the year before. At the end of day, Reigns makes the complaint lots of money and envokes the most emotion regardless. He was one of the best options.

A dude that weighs as much as me covered in face paint and fake hair. Some Demon... the gimmick is a joke and no casual would have took him leaving Undertaker on the ground for good seriously. There is a reason why Undertaker handpicked Lesnar to end his streak and was happy with Reigns retiring him. Because they both look like the type of people that could destroy the magic and special effect of The Undertaker.

Taker was never meant to lose to Lesnar that was Vince's idea at the last minute

Denver 03-04-2017 10:49 PM

Also Lesnar beggged to lose the match
