..I adore Mr Ammi so much but why does it take two years to fix a tap and it's not even fixed....'oh, it is fixed, you just have to counter turn it a bit when you turn it off...'...

...well that doesn't sound very fixed to me, why can't it just switch off like a normal tap, would that not be simpler...I'll call a plumber...'there's no need, I can fix it/it's a simple job...'.....

...yes, taps and their complications....drip drip drip...drives you dripping crazy...

naaaw  typical man then?

When you know an interview will be with a man, wear a tight skirt, never mind your skills. When it will be woman wear loose fitting trousers, they don't want no heffa in their team.

Jokes but I find women are a bitchier in interviews.

When the names aren't in correct order on a poster. Like couldn't Tim Allen be on top of Tim Allen instead of Martin Lawrence and vice versa?

When people don't use capital letters at the start of a name.. Like, 'emma' it really winds me up :fist:

Forgetting to close my bedroom window before it gets dark and freezing.
Having a shower and being boiling, getting into bed with damp hair and 10 seconds later being colder than the coldest thing EVER!
being too tight to put the heating on at 2am

I think that's to do with contract negotiations and who gets "top billing". Rarely taken into account when the images are being taken and designed.

..see, I had to go and over-think this..:fist:...I don't think that in my experience, female interviewers are bitchier at all..I guess, it could also be argued in that situation, that male interviewers are 'shallow' if it were true and they were to give someone a job because of their short, tight skirt, type thing and it was less to do with their skill sets and personality being suitable for that job..maybe some female interviewers just seem more 'obvious' in what they're looking for with an interviewee...?...but the thing would be as well, is if a female did get offered a job by a male interviewer because of their short, tight skirt etc...and they had to work with females..?...then those females would be looking at them and 'judging' them as to whether they're really suitable for that job and maybe a bit more critical if they were in doubt...so, reinforcing the thought that maybe females are more bitchy in general..?..but it would just be a natural thing that most people..male or female, would want to see someone employed as a workmate because they'll be a good support and asset to a team..hmmmmm....

..I also think sometimes it's a confidence thing as well and a belief in yourself and knowing that you don't need that short, tight skirt because your skills and your personality are absolutely fine and as good as anyone else's..and anyway... if that female interviewer doesn't give you the job, it's probably not somewhere you would have been happy working anyway...

White English youths - male and female - who try to talk 'street'. Their fake, but obviously well rehearsed aping of British Asian and Afro-Caribbean youths sounds ridiculous. They'd be much better off learning English - 'innit'.

Going to stop reading dailymail. Tired of them depicting black men as god like figures while they write articles about how black women are unattractive and the whole world eats this up. It's like separating the race. The new generation grows believing this and think it's acceptable to publicly diss black women and their appearance now because the only interracial relationships they seem to cover are black men/white women (when many black women date white men. I think the first IR relationship that changed laws in the US was a white man/black woman but nevermind that) and they think well if their own race think they're freaking ugly too why can't I? I bet that boy that didn't want he and his friends to walk alongside me the other day has a black guy friend.

Just so annoyed.

and and and there was another article last week (can't remember which because I could not stand to read much of it) that was negative about black women, a white girl wrote it, and lot of black women were angry about it.

But I suppose they love it. They love it when black women are angry so they can say see "THE ANGRY BLACK WOMAN" they don't get it's hard to be a race that gets put down a lot. We're supposed to read an article that properly delves into why black women are unnatractive and be like "Naaaaw that's so cute. They have a fair point"? NAH bitch the natural thing is to be angry. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :bawling:

My rant was triggered by the fact that I was scrolling through what seemed like a fun blog, nobody was particularly attractive but then Glozell was there and UH OH Title "Painfully average looking with a great sense of humor and always down to get drunk" really? was that necessary to pin point her looks when nobody in that blog was attractive? You could have just said the rest without targeting her looks.

^^happens on a lot of posters.

this made me cry.

Last year I saw a girl against the wall and her male friend squeezing her face. I thought that he was being abusive so I stopped and asked if she was ok. Don't know what I would have done if the roles were reversed.

I can't believe the fact that no one intervened when the girl was 'abusing' the boy, but what's even more incredible is the smirks of amusement on the passer-by's faces.

..there have been a few of these social experiments, there was a similar one posted only a little while ago, it may have been on TiBB but I can't remember..it wasn't this one though but the responses were much the same...passers by were prepared to step in when the female was being assaulted but not when the male was and it's not that they just didn't step in but they were laughing as well and he was obviously needing help...

..the guy at the beginning was really going to have a go at the guy, wasn't he...but she was really punching him and banging his head into the glass window and I can't believe that people were laughing at that or would just ignore it and walk on by...and the guy who even joined in and hit him as well..?..yeah, it's really so sad and so wrong......

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 03-10-2014 10:26 AM

When someone says "there's nothing worst than..." then says something shallow or small like cutting onions because then my mind goes overtime like yeah you're right. Famine, Ebola virus, Cancer, homelessness are nothing compared to peeling onions in your nice little apartment. I know it's just a way of talking, a common sentence but I can't help myself.

I think it's because in general people think that if a woman hits a man she can't really do him any proper physical damage because men are physically stronger and they could just hold them back vs women not being able to fight back against a man attacking her.

Wrong of course, but the world still has a long way to go before we stop thinking this way.
