She actually has some problem and ends up getting rushed to hospital. It's sort of a build up for the lesbian storyline to continue.

The NHS were on top form in tonight's episode. We see Sian doubled over, she then gets a lift to the hospital, and before John Stape finished his little meeting with Colin Fishwick, Sian was operated on and she had woken up looking like she was dressed to go to the prom.
