Tonights episode looks great. There have been far too many Dalek episodes these past two years but tonights one looks like it will be pretty good.

:suspect: Far too many Dalek episodes? We had Asylum of the Daleks back in September 2012 as the opening episode for Series 7 Part 1, then the Daleks didn't appear at all in Series 7 part 2.

They appeared in The Day of The Doctor in November 2013 as the whole story was about the time war, and then had a slight role in The Time of The Doctor at Christmas alongside some other enemies.... so really the Daleks haven't had a proper stand alone episode for a while.

We can't, it's Glenn's thread.

We should've had a new thread for Series 8. :hehe:

I would make one but I'm sure I'd get hate from it :suspect:

Marsh. 30-08-2014 05:36 PM

You wouldn't. I'd say make one and ask Josy to split this thread from the point that the series 8 discussion starts. If that's not too much trouble of course, I don't know how it works.

Ok, what's happening? I keep trying to edit my post and TiBB won't let me.

Same here. I've asked Josy if I would be allowed to make a separate thread for Series 8. Hope I can because it would be ideal, a new OP and everything.

I'd be so done if I was The Doctor and had to have another encounter with the Daleks.

The Space/Other Worlds/Planets episodes have always been my favorite ones but then i'm mad for anything Space associated and the undoubtable existence of life on other Planets!

My least favorite ones are the Victorian era and ghost ones! Ghosts are crap!!!!

Marsh. 30-08-2014 06:23 PM

I enjoyed some of the 'ghost' ones like The Unquiet Dead.

Moffat does seem to be visiting the Victorian era a bit too often though.
