The architects on BBC2's "The House That £100k Built" keep singing praise for this woman's design but i'm not getting it at all...

She built the whole thing for around £50,000 though so it's impressive in that sense.

yeah..that doesn't look 'quirky' and 'different' at all..it just looks unfinished and ****...surely some sort of wall paper plaster or paint wouldn't cost much

..I didn't see that programme..is that chipboard..?...yeah, I guess it is impressive that it was built on that budget but it has no soul, it's just a square box really..it has no warmth, no 'feeling' like something beautiful such as oak would..something that puts the 'heart' into a design..but then that would be way out of the budget, so maybe you have to pay for 'heart and soul' and it doesn't come cheap...hmmm, I don't think I like that thought...
