Because it entered the charts at #34?

A flop is classed as a record that sells poorly.

Britney Jean has flopped.

A Christmas release should allways be an easy top 10 as parents buy them assuming their kids would like an international superstar (Perfect stocking filler) but Britney will be like #74 or something next week.

Is it tomorrow we find out how its done in the US?

Meanwhile, Spears's eighth studio album Britney Jean landed at number 34 on the UK chart over the weekend.
