Tottenham have finally accepted a £93m + Fábio Coentrão bid from Real Madrid for Gareth Bale. Rumours so far, nothing confirmed.
|
Looks like Willian is definitely off to the spuds as well.
|
Spurs most likely using the Gareth Bale sale money;). I think they have a good chance of finishing in the top four this season even without Bale there.
Cristiano Ronaldo will still be the top dog at RM. GB will have to get used to that:cool:. |
I understand that Everton are upset about the way which United got David Moyes in as our new Manager even if he was coming to the end of his contract there anyway, but the irony of them moaning over him promising not to go after any of their players has been lost after they were OK with Roberto Martinez signing Alcaraz and Kone from Wigan Athletic.
Wigan needed to sell and Dave Whelan is chummy with Bill Kenwright anyway, but I needed to point out their hypocrisy;). Yeah the offer United made for Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini was low, but that is the point of a first offer to test the waters and then come in for a new one after as part of negotiation tactics. I think Everton would rather sell Fellaini and keep Baines anyway because MF has said that he wants to play Champions League Football and United do need a Midfielder. |
I think Spurs are close to signing Eric Lamela from Roma too.

Quote:
Everton are an old and proud club. Moyes bemoaned City coming and dragging Lescott out near the end of the transfer window the summer they eventually bought him. United had also previously bid £12m for Baines at the end of the season just gone. Everton rejected, and united said it was their final offer. They then come back in with 28 for both Baines and mf. That values mf exactly the same as Moyes paid for him from Standard. Moyes would have been screaming the place down if he was still at the bitters, and that bid had come in, but more importantly than that, he's trying to shaft the club he'd spent the previous 10 years at. That screams small time to me, but Moyes is Moyes. |
appears Spurs are signing Willian after all :( (and possibly Lamela)

City look pretty good tbh
Time for Moyes to bring in the YaYa destroyer Felliani |
Can't believe i'm saying this but **** Baines. Sir David has actually made Evra look like he gives a **** this year and since taking over has actually developed a cross. Would much rather Fabio given a chance which I know Leon won't like as he values his experience and would be more comfortable with Gary Nev coming out of retirement

should have known Jorabchian or whatever it is had something to do with this...gotta be dodgy

Ben Smith
@BenSmithBBC #LFC have rejected an approach from Napoli for defender Martin Skrtel. More on @BBCSport shortly. I guess we're not signing a new CB this window then |
Schalke want Podolski
|
|
Wenger confirms Suarez move is completely off too
|
i hate the transfer window.
|
|
93m and Coentrao is a pretty special deal and to get Lamela and Willian to replace him on top of all the business they've done with the money Levy has done brilliantly
|
they've done amazingly well this transfer window.. if the team can gel together then thats us out of the top 4 straight away.
