BBC News Text:
["Team Trump's revenge on Starmer
for 'meddling' in US election",
is the Mail on Sunday's headline.
The paper claims members of
president-elect Donald Trump's team,
are working to help
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage
with his bid to become prime minister.
It says it is in response to
Labour volunteers travelling to the
US to campaign for
Democrat Kamala Harris in last year's
presidential election.

if Starmer was a good PM, people in the UK would be up in arms at him being disrespected, but he's not, so everybody just ignores it and gets on with their lives

I was going to say "if he was charismatic/liked" but actually I don't think that's even true, given that the Farage fangirls couldn't bring themselves to defend Farage when Musk decided to take a poke at him. The tribalistic nonsense is cooked in too deep and unfortunately the people who would probably still brand themselves "British Patriots" are far more concerned these days with the whims of US and South African billionaires.

Apparently the guys who are putting their country first and being representative of the people are the Nazi saluting bad guys. Whilst Starmer and his ilk are the good guys that are saving the World. As long as you keep paying them. Because saving the World costs trillions.

If you believe the good guys put their own country first, why are you so happy to see the UK damaged on the whims of the president of another nation?

Do you imagine that you're going to emigrate stateside and be taken under Donald's wing? I don't think you have the skillsets they're looking for Alf. They'd deport you before your feet touched the ground :joker:
