Frustrating but any points today would have been a bonus. Pretty confident that another performance like that on sunday will result in 3 points against Chelsea, and thankfully all the big clubs have to come to Anfield then in the second half of the season after us having them all away (apart from Utd)

They have been ridiculously bad for ages but we were just in denial

we play terrible football but it's not effective like Fat Sam and Tony Pulis football

Are things really worse than last year or the year before at Villa though, wouldn't think they are in as much danger. Mind you I've seen nothing of them this year

Prem is weird enough this year that I don't think there's any really good or really bad teams, City and Palace are probs the closest to either of them

We've got the same amount of points as we had last year and the year before (probably less), and that was because of Benteke and now he sucks too

People are fooled by the City and Arsenal wins, which we were very lucky in, we have been terrible for ages, we've spent little, we've cut our wage bill ridiculously

So it is a mixture of having a terrible manager and a terrible owner (terrible in a no ambition kind of way, he's not as bad as your Hull and Cardiff owners, he donated 1m to a charity hospice in association with Villa a couple of weeks ago)

This is a club that has bundles of potential (and history but people seem to get bored about hearing about that) yet we've been mediocre for years, there is a massive potential fan base there

In that case I will see you in the depressed fan thread, time to set up camp over there
