how do you think they arrested them so quickly?

bots 25-11-2021 09:10 AM

if we nuke france it would sort the problem out

As an aside, are people aware that the only reason the illegals are crossing by boat these days is because they have been so successful stopping them getting on lorries and into the tunnel.

Kazanne 25-11-2021 09:54 AM

What I want to know is if they can afford thousands to get over here how come they are entitalled to benefits when they are here? genuine question so no need for anyone to get triggered. I presume they have to pay to get here or am i wrong ?

in all likelihood the gangs will have them doing criminal stuff when they get here including prostitution. Once the mafia get hold of them, thats basically it.

International law dictates that refugees must be cared for while they are being processed, and it can take years to process them

UK needs soldiers with machine guns at their borders, refuse those migrants entry, make them turn around, say they are no longer welcome rather than being oh so inviting, grow a backbone and dare to say no, enough is enough

Tbf I agree with you Nicky, although I also agree with people who are attacking France for being useless too.

Both countries need to sort their **** out on this issue because it's incompetence on both sides.

In this particular case, who do you think is more to blame -
a) the cash-strapped UK government for not spending billions trying to turn their countries into something fit for the modern world
b) the French authorities, who are being paid millions to stop the migrant crossings, for sitting back and allowing the migrants to attempt the journey
?

Tbf the UK is not that cash strapped as MP's always increase their wages when they get the chance, and our Government approved a Museum about The Beatles recently.

My point basically being these two things wouldn't be happening if the UK were genuinely cash strapped.

bots 25-11-2021 02:28 PM

The EU has had an open door policy to migrants for years now. Their own people are annoyed about it. That open door policy is what has led to all the migrants in france trying to get to the uk. That is not the fault of the uk

arista 25-11-2021 04:11 PM

In Hospital the 2 that got saved
one is Iraqi
and the other from Somalia.

It will be hard to find out who the dead are
as All of them Destroy /burn all their papers and passports

UK isn't cash strapped at all, UK are one of the financial elite countries of the world, besides USA and UAE of course

I was shocked to see the gender breakdown of the boat yesterday.

I kinda assumed if would be families or young couples escaping from the terrors of their own country but about 90% of them were single males ..

It has always been like that, the men get over here then they send for their families.

Remember when we had grown men saying they were 13 year olds to get in this country

It's been that way for ages, I'm surprised there were so many females on that particular boat.

Zizu 25-11-2021 08:14 PM

I hope it isn’t true but a colleague was telling of a young woman who couldn’t stop her baby from crying and one of the blokes on board said it was risky to everyone to be so noisy and just grabbed it and chucked it overboard :(

Baby crying
would not be a problem
in the Sea.

I think its made up
so many crazy storys can not be traced.

Zizu 25-11-2021 11:17 PM

Blimey these flamin ‘boats’ are shabby , hand made dingys made cheaply to do just ONE journey ..

The one yesterday apparently just fell apart under the weight aboard.
