Putin isn't stupid, he drops one nuke and he is dead and im pretty sure the US has a lot more nukes then what they claim they have

Denver 27-02-2022 01:21 PM

Plus the US have the Saudis on side who don't really get along with the Russians, the Saudis can get a hold of a lot of Nuclear weapons and if it came to a war they would side with the west

He's not gonna have a bit of the other with you.

arista 27-02-2022 01:24 PM

Putin says it is Combat Alert.

Denver 27-02-2022 01:25 PM

Its common sense, Russia won't win a war they just don't have the capability to do so, they have showed this week that they don't have the technology or the gear to go to a full war, Russia has about 3 to 4 allies who are mostly weak aswell the west can rely on a lot more allies if needed but have the troops and equipment to destroy Russia

Denver 27-02-2022 01:26 PM

Also if North Korea were to get involved i am pretty sure South Korea and Japan will attack them

Alf 27-02-2022 01:34 PM

Trump spoke last night at CPAC. As usual he had a lot to say and was talking for over an hour.

I doubt anyone is interested but I'll share it with you anyway.

What's it got to do with this thread? You ask. Well he talks about what's happening in Ukraine amongst other things.

This guy was the leader of the free World just over a year a go, so he knows more than the media.

your love for trump is unwavering Alf, but, i'm personally not interested in what a failed president has to say

The Slim Reaper 27-02-2022 01:44 PM

After verbally fellating putin for the last 2 weeks, and saying it wouldn't have happened under him because he has a plan, here he is admitting his plan goes to a different school.

Alf 27-02-2022 01:45 PM

See? I share a video of current affairs and it's immediately dismissed with a passing insult to me to go with it.

Had I shared a video of Obama speaking about the Ukraine, it would have just been normal to fit in with the forum.

Denver 27-02-2022 01:47 PM

Isn't it time he was arrested for War Crimes? He is a reason this has happened, lets not forget how he tried to blackmail Ukraine and when they said no he said Russia could attack them

Are you willing to testify in a court of law all of this information?

With your eye witness information we can lock him up.

Corbyn is a Trump fan.

So that's why Corbyn wasn't invited to attend any of the events when Trump was in london?

Carry on questioning everything Alf

MTVN 27-02-2022 01:58 PM

Wonder if there's anything he could do which would cause Putin's top generals and politicians to intervene

It's not like he was always this powerful, a lot of its only happened in the last few years

I didn't say Trump was a Corbyn fan.

If my calculationss are correct, he already put things in place before he left office.

He has our backs.

He can't even see his own back, this is a man who stokes the flames of a civil war and when his followers attacked went rolling into the basement like a mouldy orange

i think it would require a peoples uprising that overwhelms the police. It may come at some point, but we are a long way from that yet

The US having "more" is largely irrelevant because if these numbers being in the thousands; the UK alone has enough nuclear firepower to effectively end civilisation as we know it. That's just 120 active warheads.

Basically if more than a few dozen high-yield nukes go off, the fallout and environmental damage would be catastrophic. Russia having 1600 active warheads and the US having over 3500 means nothing. If either fired just 10% of them, the world would be over.

Anyone interested in the actual stats by the way, Russia has about 6000 nukes and the US has something like 5500, but as the numbers above show, the US has far more active (meaning, ready to fire). Most of Russia's 6000 are inactive in storage and not in actual bombs or missiles.

But again like I said... Doesn't really matter. They have 1600 and a small percentage of that is global game-over.

bots 27-02-2022 02:35 PM

i think at the moment, all bets are off. Putin isn't thinking logically any more ( to put it politely) So he could literally do anything. Worst case scenarios are always unpleasant to consider, but they are there none the less.

Personally, i do feel that russia will fire off some nukes, whether they are tactical or strategic is the big question

I hope i am being alarmist, but putin is no longer a sane and therefore predictable person

AnnieK 27-02-2022 02:44 PM

I read somewhere (can't remember where but I dismissed it as a conspiracy) that Putin is in late stages of cancer and wants to leave behind a "legacy". He doesn't look like a cancer sufferer to ne but he is certainly acting like a man on a mission to prove something and quickly
