..aww, that would be so romantic Vanessa...and also Venice, that's somewhere I'd like to go, I'll see if I can find some 'cool' Italian houses to post here...

..it is very pretty Richard and quite quaint as well, I think I much prefer that type of house to the really modern ones ..although I do like some modern décor inside..kind of a mixture of both, I guess...

I'm not a fan of the ultra modern houses which look very 'boxy' - on the exterior at least - i'd rather it have some character to it like the above photos.

..yeah, there are some things that I like ultra modern, like kitchens/bathrooms but I also like to have a cosy feel, which is quite difficult to achieve with that kind of interior..I do love the houses on Grand Designs..(well, some of them..)..but I wouldn't necessarily want to live in one....
