there was no party, they mean work colleagues having a drink

A party is still a party ,they don't all have to be Speedos/ bikinis squirting champagne & blaring loud music out.

When we were in serious Lockdown that essentially meant no gatherings & no visiting other households. Boris & his cronies broke all those rules. You can't tell a country not to do something if you're doing the opposite, he's a big ol' inconsiderate hypocrite.

They were meeting to make plans to cope with Covid 19 .. having a drink or three afterwards doesn’t seem too outlandish to me .. that goes for all the Labour Party officials as well incidentally

And don’t say they could have had fricken Zoom meetings because we had loads of then and they were a complete nightmare

A party isn't a drink after work or you have to include Starmer

What have you to say about him?

the fact that he tried to postpone the inquiry to some fictitious point in the future under a party whip showed that he is not remorseful at all. He has no respect for parliament or democracy

[Mr Johnson said the UK would support India
to construct fighter jets, in an attempt
to reduce the volume of weapons bought from Russia.

No 10 also said the two countries would be
boosting their security co-operation in the
Indo-Pacific region, including the Indian Ocean.

And there was a commitment to increase research
into lowering the cost of "green" hydrogen
power - part of the UK's renewable energy plans.

The two leaders also discussed the latest
in UK-India trade talks - where Mr Johnson
has set an autumn target for an
agreement to be signed.]

Then why put us in lockdown and what's the point in rules?. Why do people keep downplaying it as some tiny innocent meeting

There was NO SOCIAL DISTANCING, they all thought it was hilarious. can you not see the sheer hypocrisy & incompetence .

He couldn't even give us clear direction,if he wanted to save lives then he would have lived by example, and he would have put us in full lockdown earlier than he did. And he would have waited until we were over the worst to lift restrictions.

He's handled COVID in such a shambolic way. He's never cared about this pandemic ,and he's never taken it seriously from day 1.

You could argue he was considering the mental health of his staff, and allowed them this down time to de stress themselves from the horrible situation everyone was in.
