Worlds more effective of an AG pick. I was confused when he picked Gaetz because it was like he was openly intended to piss off a whole bunch of people, including getting them riled up on his own side, but now it makes sense because the weak links in the parent are well out of the closet. There's some games being played with some of these picks for sure though. Like why do we need a duo for some positions? :conf:

Linda McMahon is an interesting pick for Education. Anything that happens during this administration with Education is likely to impact us directly as we have major decisions to make in the future. We have more options locally than other States seem to have, but education has slipped in an alarming way in the US. We can vote on who ends up on the Boards of local school systems/college systems, but it's hardly consequential in the long term when the relationship to funding locally/state/federal impacts what programs/curriculum ultimately get implemented and what their priorities will be... and then add to this any issues locally with lax judges and endless catch & release, increased crime has a direct impact on our education system as well as students ability to learn as gangs have always been a thing in urban systems. There's funding that has to go to security, private policing and alternative schools to deal with that problem more directly... and when parents aren't stepping up, of course that problem is made even worse...

A Judge will cancel the Hush Money Case.

She's obviously not an "airhead."

But she is a corporate and political robot who's incapable of veering from a set path; and while I admire her loyalty in not throwing Biden under the bus, she did herself no favours by not saying anything she'd do differently. She promised change while also looking like she'd be nothing but a continuity candidate.

By not doing any (unstructured or uncontrolled) interviews, she didn't give any reason for the public to vote for her - not being Trump can only go so far.

It really wasn't Harris's fault, the problem was with the dem machine. It's lost it's identity, it's lost it's focus, it's vision and it's purpose. It doesn't know how to communicate with voters in the modern era.
