Okay so opinions on Murder House...

Spoiler:

Absolutely amazing, probably one of the best TV shows I've seen. It says a lot that I have a record for not being able to watch anything unless it's airing on TV - but I finished the season in 4 days and I don't regret it at all. The whole concept of the house and the ghosts was amazing, I loved that there was just a circle of about 10/12 characters and that even though there was so many backstories and so many people dying in the house...it never felt rushed or over crowded and it all just seemed to flow perfectly. Ben was a little annoying as the lead, and I didn't feel invested in Vivien as much as I should have been I feel - but I loved Tate, Constance, Violet and all the prominent ghosts (Hayden and Nora were my faves - but the gay couple were also hilarious but also provided some villainy when they were needed). Moira the maid was also brilliant - the murder of the not so Persian guy was both hilarious and ew at the same time. Marcy the estate agent:love: My only critcism is I think that episode 11 should have been the finale - and should have just been extended to include Ben's death and Constance raising the baby - episode 12 didn't feel like a finale much at all and felt unnecessary except the parts I mentioned that should be included in episode 11.

It's great that you enjoyed it so much. :)

Really good point about the finale, I liked it but you're right that the penultimate episode (extended to include some bits from episode 12) could have served as a brilliant finale itself (and probaby a more emotionally-affecting finale). :)

Firewire 28-02-2015 05:36 PM

I always thought that the finales were pointless. Same went for Asylum, too. The penultimate episodes pretty much feel like a fitting end.

Freak Show finale was good because it tied up any/all loose ends (even though it could have all happened 6 episodes earlier)

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 28-02-2015 06:35 PM

freakshow was a mess in general

I've never posited in here before but I've watched murder house, asylum and coven. I way he's them in the summer though so can't remember much but I definitely think that Coven is the best. Does anybody have a link so that I can watch freakshow? I can't wait to see sister Mary Eunice again :D. It is just me who finds Murder house overrated also I pave watched it twice now but for me it doesn't seem to piece together I thought only people what died in the house what Violet, Ben and Vivienne lived in so I don't get why Tate is alive and why the students he killed fame to life on Halloween but anyhow. I didn't really rate asylum that much apart from Sister Mary Eunice who is perhaps my favourite AHS character tied with Madison from Coven. Coven I think is amazing it's written perfectly and brilliantly casted I think I got to make more of a relationship as a viewer with Fiona than I did Constance and
Spoiler:

I cried when Fiona died
even though she was a bitch. I loved every character in Coven and I hope that some characters like Misty and Madison appear again in other series I'm the future

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 01-03-2015 04:40 PM

she is only in it for like 5 mins

Okay opinions on Asylum...

Spoiler:

Extremely good - didn't think I'd like it as much as Murder House but it's definitely better. I loved all the plots and it really had me on the edge of my seat. Sister Mary Eunice, Sister Judge ( :bawling: ) and Lana were all brilliant in my opinion. I hated Doctor Arden but he was a brilliant villain (kind of). I really loved the plots, the Nazi one was intruiging, and the Bloody Face angle was excellent. The only thing I wasn't really sure on was the alien aspect, didn't think it was really needed. But the overall tone of the Asylum was excellent and this series was much better wrapped up than Murder House, I loved how the story completely changed pace and tone in the last two and I loved seeing Briarcliff slowly detoriate even more and it was actually compelling to see Judy still in there struggling, but her ending was brilliant. Amazing series, loved it from start to finish.

you will enjoy coven

I recently started watching this. I didn't enjoy Murder House at all however as for Asylum..

Spoiler:

Asylum was one of the most intriguing, dark and twisted pieces of television ever. The characters were just so interesting and different to anything I've watched before. I always enjoy things that are based around Asylums or sanity, as it's interesting to watch. I thought that the story behind Sister Jude eventually being admitted to Briarcliff was upsetting but I was gripped, and with Sister Mary being possessed too - brilliant.

The story with Doctor Arden being a Nazi was brilliant. I enjoyed hating the character and hating him for what he did to the inmates. I agree with Cal above with the aliens aspect. I don't think it was needed in the story, and the series would have been strong enough to carry itself without the aliens. Lana and Kit were really really strong characters and they were great to watch. Evan Peters is fantastic, and as for Sarah Paulson, her acting was incredible. I loved how evil Sister Jude was in getting Lana admitted to Briarcliff and making her experience the harsh treatment. I could speak forever about the series so I'll just end it with the fact I thought it was a phenomenal series.

I'm starting Coven and I'll probably finish it by the weekend.

On to Coven...

You will adore Coven. Sister Mary Eunice is too one of my favourite characters. Coven in my opinion is the best by far. I hope you're a Madison stan like me. Covens really dark in some parts but unlike the other two there's some elements of comedy and personally I think Jessica Langes best character is Fiona she's 100x better than Constance. Fiona's got more depth I think and I actually felt sorry for her where as I just despised Constance with a passion. Tate is better than Kyle I'll say that but Zoe is better than Violet. Madison is the best character ever she's like a witch version of Regina George.

I hope so! I've heard good things about it.

Cal. 05-03-2015 08:01 PM

The first episode of Coven was better than the first episodes for Murder House and Asylum for me:love:

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 05-03-2015 08:06 PM

misty :flutter:

Marsh. 05-03-2015 08:07 PM

misty is gay

Cal. 05-03-2015 08:15 PM

I've seen like two mins of Misty so I can't say she's great yet.

Daniel-X 05-03-2015 08:43 PM

Misty, Madison and Sister Mary Eunice > Any other AHS character

Daniel-X 05-03-2015 08:45 PM

I forgot about how good Myrtle was :flutter: the fashionable bitch

Spoiler:

I forgot how amazing it was when she took Leslie Jordan's eyes out with the melon ball thing

Daniel-X 05-03-2015 08:48 PM

Spoiler:

Only thing what ruined Coven for me was when Kyle killed Madison I really hate all of Evan Peters characters in the AHS series.
