I'm current on S2 EP11 I've recently watched the episode where Emily finds out she's got an ulcer and Jason's been taking pictures of Aria but they discover later it's Alison other than that I can't really remember what else happened in the last episode apart from they discovered the NAT club.

Started watching from the beginning now, on s1ep10. Will there be another A after this one is revealed in season 5 finale?

The first A is revealed at the end of Season 2, and this current A is apparently going to be revealed in Season 6 sometime (but we're meant to get big enough clues to be able to guess who it is during the finale).

I don't think there will be another A after this one.

You definitely made the right decision to watch from the beginning. Are you enjoying the show then? :)

Yeah it's really good, like its different, it's not your typical bratty teen show. So much to watch though! A lot of the characters are really likeable, especially Spencer. :)

Spoiler:

CeCe was visiting Radley pretending to be Alison and that's where she befriended Bethany. Bethany thought CeCe was Alison for some time. Bethany probably figured out that CeCe wasn't really Alison, which is why she started talking **** about her on the tapes. Bethany pretended to still be friends with CeCe so she could get out and kill her for lying to her on Labor Day (she wrote to "Alison" (CeCe) before Labor Day thanking her for the yellow top (that CeCe gave her)). CeCe figured out what she was planning and gave herself, Alison (the note her mom supposedly left with her top was fake), and Bethany the yellow top. Bethany knew "Alison" (CeCe) was going to wear the yellow top that night, so that's all she was looking for. She saw the back of Alison and assumed it CeCe, so she hit her with the rock. Then Mrs. DiLaurentis buried Alison assuming she was dead already to protect Bethany since Bethany didn't know that was the real Alison. CeCe saw all of this happen, which is what she planned. Later on, CeCe killed Bethany before she could expose her and Melissa buried her. CeCe was blackmailing Mrs. DiLaurentis because Mrs. DiLaurentis knew the truth about everything, but she also buried her daughter, so she was forced to protect CeCe by allowing her to live in her house as Red Coat, as well as giving her those clothes in the woods in 4x24. When Alison was discovered to be alive, Mrs. DiLaurentis didn't have anything to hide anymore, so she was going to expose CeCe. That's when CeCe killed her.

someones theory

welp :fan: where the cece doubters at now? :fan:

After half a decade of waiting, Pretty Little Liars' season five finale is just a day away, which means it's time to get ready up for the "biggest reveal" in the series' history!

"I think we're going to break Twitter all night long," PLL's executive producer Marlene King spilled exclusively to ETonline. "This is an episode that's not just shocking and action-packed and scary as hell -- it's demented and emotional."

"I just think there are many, many things that are going to feel new to our fans, and that's what's so exciting about it," King continued. "It's the most important episode we've done so far so. It's just balls out, and a really fun, new, and interesting direction for the show."

For more exclusive details on Tuesday's "Big A Reveal," the terrifying mysteries of 'A's dollhouse, and the motives behind 'A's devious deeds, take a look at our season five finale Q&A with King below.

What can you tease to fans about this mysterious dollhouse?
MK: I can say that the entire episode, which is called, "Welcome to the Dollhouse," was inspired by 'A's idea of playing with his dolls and in 'A's dollhouse. It gave us an interesting idea, and I will say that this episode is unlike anything you have ever seen -- not just on Pretty Little Liars but on television period.

Pretty Little Liars is known for their jaw-dropping finales, how does episode finale stack up to the others?
MK: I think that it's our most sophisticated, most ambitious, and by far the most edgy episode to date.

The phrase, "Big A Reveal" can be taken two different ways. Will fans be learning the entire identity of 'A' or just one part of the answer?
MK: It's such a hard question to answer. If I were talking to you after the episode, it's very easy to explain it because it will make sense. I don’t want to sound cagey because I don’t want to make the fans thinks we're not giving them this massive reveal. It is the biggest reveal we’ve ever given so far. In so many ways you will know who this person is, but I will just say there is a little bit more story left to tell after the episode -- not a lot of story, but a little bit.

Is this going to be a reveal that we learn along with the Liars, or will this be a Ezra-type situation where only the audience knows?
MK: No, the girls discover it. The girls bring us the information.

It seems like every single shocker of the series has always centered on the DiLaurentis family. How many secrets are hiding in the DiLaurentis household?
MK: It's so interesting that you say that because I always say there are two roads in Rosewood: One always leads to Radley and one always leads to Alison. And so it can go one of two ways in every finale.

It was a year ago that we lost Mrs. DiLaurentis. Do you think that this season finale is going to top that shocker?
MK: I think [the season five finale] is a shock and a revelation -- that was just a shock. Even when looking at it now, even though I've seen it so many times, there's this one specific scene -- and in hindsight fans will know exactly what I'm talking about. You feel like you're just lighting that fuse and that fuse is going to reach that time bomb soon and it's that kind of revelation -- It's just really exciting. There's a line and I'll tell you what it is -- it's a spoiler and I don’t think we've told this line to anyone. A certain character in this finale says something like, "Oh my God, 'A' has a soul." That to me tells us yes we're ramping up to the end of this story -- but it's not just pulling off the mask of 'A', it's really finding out that 'A' is human too and 'A' has a soul like anyone else.

If she's A, then it's so predictable. :bawling:

Smithy 24-03-2015 06:59 AM

Marlene has said its not really about the who, it's about the why, which "heart wrenching and breath taking" so that to me alludes it's someone predictable but there's a really good reason to it

But it's gonna be a disappointment, if it's predicatable. People want shock factor. Plus we have barely seen CeCe.

Smithy 24-03-2015 07:26 AM

But everyone has been made to seem so shady at this point that it could anyone and not be a shock  at least Cece seems to be a friend to Ali, so it'd be a shock to her

I suppose, but I just feel with CeCe it's always been suspicious.

I dunno whether or not to watch the recommended eps before the finale

That's how I feel. Another reason I'd dislike CeCe being Big A is that she wasn't even introduced until 7 episodes after Big A started stalking the girls. That's 6 straight episodes that, at the time of their original airing, guessing and theorising was pointless because the perpetrator wasn't even known yet.

Still, I'd take CeCe over some other choices (Andrew, Pastor Ted for example), but I wouldn't exactly be overjoyed at it being her.
