Yeah I found out about that site during BBCAN3, the updates there are great! :D I've just missed a lot in many of the last couple days so I don't even feel like bothering to read all of it. :joker:

Audrey is to blame though... she started the whole "get Day out" thing on like Day 2 of the feeds, and she's basically going home for being the only one to openly confront Audrey. Also Audrey spread a lie around the house saying Day called Becky a racist :nono:

I feel so bad for Da'Vonne. People complained that Audrey was being alienated but no one bats an eye-lid at Day being shunned.

Poor Day :( I want her to stay so badly. See with BBCAN there's always so many people one can root for. In BBUS someone like Day goes and the season is basically over

Cruel but i guess it´s understandable. It´s the evicteé blake. If you are seen with the evicteé, you become associated with them, even if you are just being nice and not talking game.

Casting need to take tips from BBCan

She should have formed a better relationship with Shelli, laid low and not have the arguments she had, not be so paranoid and she would have been fine.

Basically, she played badly.

Both castings are made by the same person, Robyn Kass. Producers say and give her instructions what type of housemates they want. She then searches, interviews, browses and casts the people based on those instructions and then introduces her findings to the producers, who do the final selections.

It´s the producers who should change their standards and tastes in terms of housemates.

It might be a cultural thing too. Canadians are more free spirited and comfortable with themselves than the US (Americans).

I'm talking about character not gameplay. I love to see a diverse cast of people from all backgrounds. BBUS in comparison to BBCanada where that is concerned is incredibly inferior.

In bbcan we had johnny, jordan, Sindy, Naeha, Brittnee, Goffrey, pilar as well as feminist Sarah

In bbus we have Da'Vonne and James

I know I'm so rooting for her to stay, but it's inevitable she's a goner this week. :(

Agreed it sucks because we know Robyn Kass is able to do an amazing job too, as exemplified year after year in bbcanada.

I think for the American producers the TV show diversity is more of a forced requirement for them, a task that needs to be filled with minimum effort. It´s seen in almost every tv show they have ever had.

Instead of a mixed cast with different backgrounds and personalities.

You can't blame the American Cast recruiter and producers for only having Americans to work with. Seriously though, they try to hit all the demographics of standard American stereotypes. And while we all love a ethnically diverse cast, the American audience is still not ready for one. It is what makes the show uniquely American in my view.

yeah I don't think Audrey is all to blame by any means. Da'Vonne has really good instincts and picks up on things happening around her but she's really bad at inserting herself into a situation and having social power to tread on. And, like, she did next to nothing all week to try to save herself. I thought she was doing a great job when she told Julia that people thought she had a twin, but then she went and helped coach everyone on what to ask her during the podcast and was barely suppressing her laughter doing the whole thing. It just seemed like she was just throwing a bunch of strategies out there and seeing if any of them stuck.

And with regards to the whole Steve thing, I ****ing hate Steve and can barely handle watching him and he's most definitely on the spectrum and whatnot, but that being said Da'Vonne was one of the least tolerant of him even though he LOVED her. Like, I don't want to say that karma was at work but.
