Biden has condemned lawlessness and criminal behaviour from all sides and all ideologies many, many times, Trump, has not, he refuses to offend his core base of racist thugs, instead he panders to them and riles them up

Maybe they're not quite fascists, but one could make the argument they're engaging in domestic terrorism. Especially as the victims of their violence have nothing to do with fascism.

republicans have come out after the debate and said trump would never condemn people who vote for him ... and that is the simple truth

it keeps puzzling me why republicans need to defend such moron time to time again

they do deserve someone better for sure, someone who takes the job of president of the free world more seriously rather than a power hungry moron who'll do anything to stay in power

Exactly, Biden is the only one of them with enough integrity to fully condemn violence in all forms, even if it might lose him some votes, that’s what a president is meant to do, not tickle the balls of dangerous, violent, racist extremists

This is what happens when you mistake propaganda for truth.

Im watching now, what a mess.

The bookies preferred Biden. His odds have shortened slightly, Trump's drifted.

Not a whole deal of policy was discussed by either man. Rather, there was plenty of bickering but neither Trump or Biden landed any knockout blows

Trump will have hoped to see Biden slip up more throughout the 90 minute long debate but no huge errors came from Biden.

Biden has edged further ahead in the bid to become the new President, but Trump is far from out of it yet.
Second quote is interesting "no huge errors came from Biden" Two more debate, if Biden doesn't mess up (lets be fair, that's about a 50/50 chance) he should win. Still a long way to go.

Trump doesn't know how to stay quiet for long enough to let someone else mess up. I think he knows he's supposed to do that, but he's so strongly compelled to hear his own voice that he just can't. How can Biden make a mistake if every time he starts saying anything, Trump talks over him?

user104658 30-09-2020 02:54 PM

If Trump drifts to 2/1 I'm taking those odds

Got the ****er at 5/1 last time but I only put £50 on him.

caprimint 30-09-2020 02:57 PM

Biased moderator Chris Wallace trying to help Sleepy Joe out only made Trump do his job better. :clap1:

I would snap up 5/1 now lol, but wouldn't risk on 2/1

Someone in the UK placed a £200k bet on Trump. Think that was about 3/4 weeks ago.

Wasn't you was it Toy Soldier?

caprimint 30-09-2020 03:04 PM

I was gonna bet on him last week at like 6/5 and now he's on 11/8 already, hopefully keeps drifting

Swan 30-09-2020 03:07 PM

He's been steadily drifting for about a month now.

I could be tempted to spaff £100 at 2/1, just to cheer myself up if he wins. I only bet on novelties (politics and celeb crap) but I wouldn't place any bet at 6/5 let alone £200k :joker:. I put £80 on Gary Bussey in CBB at 5/6 back when I didn't really have it to lose - the bet was a no-brainer but it still wasn't fun, not enough of a profit to be worth the risk. 2/1 is about as low as I'd go.

user104658 30-09-2020 03:20 PM

Obligatory brag that I had £10 on Helen Wood at 33/1. I like to bring that up occasionally .

Putting a muzzle on Trump until it's his time to speak would be a start. Although if he keeps supporting White supremacy in these debates, I'll be glad to give him the rope to hang himself.

[USA Election 2020: Debate pulled in 65 million TV viewers]

[The TV viewership for Tuesday's clash was lower
than the 2016 debates, but final streaming counts are pending.
The 2016 showdown between Mr Trump and Hillary Clinton broke TV records,
pulling in 84 million viewers.
That one shattered the previous viewership
record of 80.6 million set in the 1980 Reagan-Carter debate.
On Tuesday night, around 64.7 million
people tuned in on eight channels for the
first primetime political duel between
the White House contenders, according to Nielsen.
Mr Trump on Wednesday responded to the
preliminary numbers by saying
"some day these Fake Media Companies are
going to miss me, very badly".]

...I got to watch some of their debate yesterday../...well most of it, I think...what it showed to me was two people who should never, ever be president...it’s incredible that these are the two contender in the ring...

...obviously, Trump has to go though in the interests of the USA and the world...

JerseyWins 01-10-2020 04:10 AM

Everyone's saying how much of a **** show this was & I heard/saw parts of it and sure seemed like that's the best way to describe it :joker:

When is the next one? I actually kinda wanna watch
