i think it was actually webber with fastest lap in end but i may be wrong
also that first lap smash button caused (you know the one that made alonso end up wrong way) had that been lewis the FIA would have been all over his arse before he'd finished that lap button is left too it with nothing |
yep webber got fastest lap!
|
It was a great race, but Lewis Needs to chill. Probably in the heat of the moment, but he needs to learn not to call out his team for getting a strategy wrong. HE can do that behind closed doors, not in interviews. Just acknowleged the strategy didnt work out, and leave it at that. Then give an ear full to that White wash or whatever guy!
Anyways, growing pains! He is gonna win a race soon enough! |
i've said it all weekend if he still had his dad as manager and thus trackside i dont think he would be so hot headed his dad kept him grounded imo

MICHAEL SCHUMACHER insists there is "more to come" following a poor start to his Formula One comeback.
The seven-times world champion was heavily criticised after his 10th-place finish in Sunday's Australian Grand Prix. After an early pit stop for a new nose for his Mercedes, the 41-year-old struggled to make up lost ground. At one point Schumacher was embarrassingly overtaken by Virgin Racing's Timo Glock, which even prompted a hurry-up from race engineer Andrew Shovlin. Schumacher has also been out-qualified and out-performed by team-mate Nico Rosberg in the opening two races. But the German said: "I have taken a lot of positives from the race weekend in Melbourne. "Whilst it might not be evident at first sight, when you look into the weekend more deeply, we did make some real improvements and have good reasons to be satisfied, just not from the actual result obviously. "Analysing qualifying, both Nico and I could have been two or three places higher. With hindsight, my set-up was too conservative and too much focused on the race. "Those better positions would have enabled us to fight closer to the front on Sunday. "All of this means we are not too far away and I am quite confident there will be more to come." Schumacher heads to Malaysia this week knowing a big improvement is needed. He added: "We know we have clearly improved our pace since Bahrain which is a good feeling. "It was a lot of fun fighting it out on the track in Melbourne, even if it was just for one point. "But I will enjoy fighting again in Sepang." Webber cant keep his cool.....as you saw him take lewis out last weekend......have to say lewis was having one of the best drives ive ever seen since schumi a few years back......shame webber did that and the team pitted him again.
|
Never liked webber at all.
Hope hamilton wins next race. |
dont think theyll be fast enough if vettels engineers can get the reliabilty sorted he'll win......althoough remember last year the race had to be stopped after 20 mins.....looks like thunderstomrs this year too....big crash i reckon, lewis hit button and vettel....
|
it'll be double tvs as i only have freeview there isnt much overlap on this race day but there will be a big one later in year
how many laps do we reckon we will get til its red flagged cos weather forecasts look dreadful again and if i wanted to watch powerboat racing over f1 racing i would do ;) i reckon we will get 12 laps before its flagged |
If I achieve a perfect 0 with fewest kms covered (sweepstake Kobayashi) can I claim a hattrick?!
Is there a booby prize in the sweepstake Eion? LOL |

Can we have a sub-sweepstake Eion on how many laps my boy's Sauber will last in the race before it falls apart?!
|
It's raining. Hamilton, Alonso and Massa out in Q1. Button slid off too.
|
Red Bulls and Mercs will probably contest poll now.
|
Red-flagged for the rain again, like happened last year. Time to get the canoes out.
|
Nice tyre choice there for Webber. Pole.
