Fan vid of Drew's NXT debut:

Denver 06-04-2017 05:25 PM

Meltzer said that AJ Styles being drafted to RAW would mean that the red brand would have to send a big star over to SmackDown Live. However, he stated that he has no idea who that could be.
As for the latest call-up, Shinsuke Nakamura, Meltzer stated that he was brought in as a possible replacement for John Cena, who won’t be around for much this year. The New Day being drafted to SmackDown Live is likely a move to help save the blue brand’s tag team roster.Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair both finished off their storylines on television, indicating that they seem to be switching brands. Meltzer speculated that the two former champions will be swapping spots, but admitted that he had no concrete information on this.Andrade “Cien” Almas was present at the NXT tapings on Wednesday night. He wrestled two matches, one of which he won. He and Samson likely didn’t make their debuts as there were already a few debuts and returns.

Brother Leon 06-04-2017 06:40 PM

I predicted Alexa/Charlotte and Rollins/AJ. I stick with that for now. New Day to Smackdown is meh to me. They may have some decent work with the Usos, especially as they are always goofing around on Xavier's gaming channel.

WRESTLEMANIA® BREAKS MORE RECORDS
STAMFORD, Conn., April 6, 2017 – In addition to setting a new Orlando Citrus Bowl attendance record of 75,245 fans, which led to the highest-grossing event in the stadium's history at $14.5 million, WrestleMania also broke records for sellouts, digital and social media engagement and merchandise sales.

Attendance

As part of the week-long WrestleMania celebration, WWE held an unprecedented five consecutive nights of sellouts at the Citrus Bowl and Amway Center with 165,000 in attendance at WrestleMania Axxess, Hall of Fame, NXT TakeOver: Orlando, WrestleMania, Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live.

Digital/Social Media

WrestleMania 33 was the most social event in WWE history, according to Nielsen Social, with 5.19 million interactions on Facebook and Twitter during the broadcast alone. There were also 2.8 million tweets about WrestleMania throughout the day.

WrestleMania 33 accounted for nearly 30 percent of all social TV interactions on Sunday, April 2, surpassing the Country Music Awards (13 percent), The Walking Dead Season Finale (10 percent) and MLB Opening Day on ESPN – Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals (10 percent).

WWE-related content saw more than 490 million video views across WWE.com, WWE App and social media during WrestleMania Week, an increase of 96 percent year-over-year.

WWE Network

WrestleMania reached a record 1.95 million global households on WWE Network alone, making it the most-watched WrestleMania in history, with pay-per-view data still forthcoming.

WWE Network subscribers viewed 22.5 million hours during WrestleMania Week or 13 hours per subscriber during the week. This compares to 21.7 million hours last year, a year-over-year increase of 4 percent.

Merchandise Sales

WWE generated $3.7 million in WrestleMania merchandise revenue, an increase of 164 percent or $2.3 million, from WrestleMania 24 in Orlando. It was also WWE's second-highest grossing WrestleMania, only behind last year's WrestleMania 32 in Dallas.

WTF at Lesnar not defending his title at Payback

Denver 06-04-2017 07:24 PM

According to Dave Meltzer, Goldberg might make another come back to the WWE. On a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer opined that Goldberg’s merchandise was selling pretty well after his return, his character was blazing hot and the promos he cut were very strong. He emphasised that the WWE didn’t really want to let Goldberg go as they were thoroughly impressed with his recent run and would most definitely look to bring him back in the future.

My guess for trades
Raw Gets AJ, Alexa, JBL, American Alpha, and they'll sign The Drifter Elias Sampson

SD gets Sami or Rollins, Charlotte, Graves, The New Day and they'll sign Almas

Denver 08-04-2017 02:59 PM

Lesnar may not defend the title till July

Yea he bullying me so I mko him from otter no where

BBfanUSA 10-04-2017 12:49 AM

Meltz basically hinted that he'll likely be sacked in the next two weeks or so saying "In the next two weeks or so you'll figure out the real press from the fake ones" alluding to the whole situation. If he's not gone in three weeks, I'll gladly post the likely negative crowd reaction JBL will get before SD (I'm going to it).

In New Japan news, Juice Robinson (That Hippie guy called CJ Parker on NXT who decided to say screw it, I'm going to try to stop being a jobber and became a young lion for New Japan) pinned IC Champ Tetsuya Naito in a 8 man tag match at their recent event and is likely getting a IC title shot soon. (Started off this year facing off with Cody at the Jan 4th Tokyo Dome show 1 on 1 and is highly speculated to receive a big push later this year by being in the G1.)

IIRC there's two shows in the US that will feature just the NJ roster in Long Beach, California called the G1 special just before the tournament starts, so likely he's getting a title shot there for one of the shows.

Brother Leon 10-04-2017 01:59 AM

Doubt JBL will get sacked. Vince will probably move him backstage. He loves that hazing/ribbing **** and him and HHH probably encouraged abit of it too. Even if he does get sacked then Vince will make sure he gets some nice coin as a take care present.

Denver 10-04-2017 01:00 PM

According to the rumour roundup section of Cageside Seats, there is one trade practically locked in for the Superstar Shake-Up. Charlotte will be moving to SmackDown, while Alexa Bliss will shift to Raw.
