Another fact based on actual data is that the average length of stay in hospital before recovery from omicron is 3 days, down from 14+ days with delta

Delta cases right down now thanks to Omicron

Crimson Dynamo 29-12-2021 03:14 PM

Results from South Africa are painting a reassuring picture: there, cases have peaked,
rates of hospitalisation are coming down. Reported risk of severe illness with omicron is
about 80 per cent lower than with delta.

Paul Hunter, professor in medicine at East Anglia, said on Tuesday that we should look
to scrap self-isolation in 2022 as Covid’s symptoms reduce to something akin to the
common cold.

So far in the pandemic, the country has been divided on how to deal with spikes in
cases: there’s those who favour a light touch approach and those who want imposed
restraint. Perhaps now is the moment we can look beyond these arguments, toward a
near future where Covid lives with us and we with it. Because what most people do
agree on is that periodically pummelling our pubs and entertainment venues, paralysing
the economy, denting education and destabilising the nation’s mental health to control
outbreaks of variants with uncertain characteristics is just not a sustainable long-term
proposition. As one elderly care home resident put it to me recently: “This is not living.
So what am I living for?”

[New COVID restrictions in Scotland will be

Seven times fewer Covid 'cases' are ending up in hospital now compared to England's devastating second wave, official data suggests as proof that Omicron is milder continues to pile up.

I do worry about the future variants though .. we surely can’t assume that Covid won’t throw us a curve ball

He is Live now on 7PM show.
One True point he just said
is People go into the Hospital
for another reason - but then Catch Covid-19

Point of Order his Mate Trump has had the Booster

On his show
he had a Top Doctor, older than him
who confirmed having the Booster
will mean he will get Protection.

Farage is he has not made his mind up
Bollocks to him.

We do not need to debate his fear.
His Mate Trump got the Booster.

A Top Doctor gave him the Truth

Virus strains TEND not to become more symptomatically severe over time, after all its a living organism and living organisms evolve to survive - for a virus that actually means that the "Best" version is one that spreads quickly whilst damaging the pool of hosts as little as possible. A "perfect" virus would be easy to catch but completely asymptomatic.

That doesn't mean it's not possible mind you. Just less likely.

Well their faces are on clear view ... bet they wish they could wear masks to hide their identity :)

Seriously though ... they probably won’t get charged but they could be named and shamed on the media sites !
