True, but no, Jackson is nothing like a young Drogba.

He’s only 22 though .. Drogba was 26 when he joined Chelsea and he wasn’t an instant success by any means

Jackson is having it learn his trade in a shockingly poor setup with a group of players low on confidence.

He shares a lot of Drogba’s qualities I feel

Chelsea shouldn't need a striker to be fair. Man U finished 3rd last season without one, city won the league several times without one. Chelsea have many attack minded players that should be scoring for fun, and they are not. The responsibility is on all the team

FSG have sold a minority share in the club for £164m, makes us more financial secure

Lots of City fans called Talksport on Weds night to complain about Newcastles Bully tactics, flying into tackles, cheating, hacking and wasting time. They could not believe that Joelinton stayed on the park with his vicious tackles

ive seen him do it in plenty games this season already and he doesn't even get booked. It's pretty obvious there is some Saudi corruption going on. Pay the refs £1m to look the other way.

Terrible news. More money for fsg and more people involved in ownership makes a full sale more difficult. We don't spend anything, so finances shouldn't be an issue to begin with. This "more secure" narrative is pure propaganda.

i am certain this goes on

Joelinton is the most booked player in the Premier League this season. The 26-year-old has received 11 in his 26 appearances.

no reds :skull:

He left Foden and Rico Lewis on the floor with vicious tackles from behind .. wasn’t even reprimanded..

I’m not gonna get into the discussion of bribery and corruption as my beloved Barca have been charged with bribing refs tonight ..

Crazy we seem to get shafted by refs in just about every damn game so we must have bribed the wrong people !!

Debts that the club/fans have been paying anyway, not them. Adding more partners makes any future sale way more complicated. £164m is next to nothing in todays market, so will be of no real benefit to the playing side. It's Lavia and Caicedo. Then what?

If they wanted to remove debt from the club, they could have paid for the stadium upgrades themselves, which is allowed through FFP and increases their future sale price more than it does anything for the team on the pitch.. Always looking for someone else to bail them out. They own a club they can't afford to finance if they want it to be successful.

Life was so much easier when refs were simply corrupted by their religious beliefs

Manchester United's Brazilian winger Antony is to return to training after allegations of domestic abuse were made against him.

It is understood the 23-year-old spoke to Greater Manchester Police on Thursday and no restrictions were placed on him following the interview.

United sources say he has provided evidence in support of his strong denials of the allegations.

He has not been arrested or charged in either Brazil or the UK.

In a statement, United said: "As Antony's employer, Manchester United has decided that he will resume training at Carrington and be available for selection, while police inquiries proceed.

Another useless woman pundit / commentator .

Too much waffle and the rest is nonsense

She just said Villa’s high press has worked every time this season apart from against Liverpool and Newcastle … ( and Warszawa and Everton) ..

I wish they’d just have good quality ex players imparting their expertise and experience). Same with Rugby and Golf

Brighton are strange, when they're on form they could beat anyone, but days like today they just haven't turned up.

They lost at home to virtual nobodies in Europe .

Maybe Real Madrid will have second thoughts on their manager
