^ I'd go with that. I went to see it today, and it pretty much lived up to my expectations. It had its moments, made me jump a couple of times, but overall just your average horror flick.

I just watched Across the Hall. Brittany Murphy's last film to be released while she was alive [released only one week before she died], she still has two more to be released which i can't wait for!

Across the Hall was so dark, and exciting. It's about a man named Terry who suspects his wife June [played by Brittany Murphy] is having an affair. He follows her to a hotel, where he books the rooms just 'across the hall' from her room. Yes, she is cheating.. yes, she is cheating now. Terry plans on killing both her and her lover. When he calls his best friend to tell him he is about to kill them, it turns out his friend isn't innocent either, if you get me. [i don't wanna spoil it lol]

It's not out in the UK, and probably never will be-

so there you go.

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

Brilliant film. I don't think it'll ever touch the Harry Potter series, but it'll be a great substitute for when they've ended. It really captures the magic of the first few Harry Potter films.

The Lovely Bones. I have no idea how good or bad the source novel is, but judging from the uneasy experience I had whilst watching this heavy handed and shapeless film I can't think of any good reason to venture near it.

My friend adores the book, from what I know it's quite critically acclaimed. It's on my to read list.

Last film I watched was the remake of Dawn of the Dead, great film. I'm not keen on the original really it doesn't really stand the test of time. It's a fun film though.

Oh, I thought that was very good, best horror I've seen in ages, probably cos there was a half decent story line with it!
