be specific. He doesn't control her image or how much radio play she gets. Seems to me she is trying to do her own thing and it just ain't working.

TBH she seems to have lost herself and gone a bit LA. Thats not who she is and its not why her fans liked her in the first place.

She had major success under Cowells support.

Err.. He was the one that made her work with Sandy Vee & agreed to steal a track, collide which Simon knew was not legal, they needed simons consent so i have been specific :elephant:

Also the release system of the company is dreadfull, like a single every 5 months, and release I will Be over Run over in America when Run was already at #84 in their charts & had success around all of Europe & Germany, and then I Will Be flopped. He is dreadfull, that isn't Leonas decision its his.

Also the lack of info.

If only people like Happyland watched that webcam then and saw what a nice down to earth person she is

I have never been so determined for a song to go to number one. I demanded to hear the chart on the way home and was close to tears when it got turned off and I didn't know who was #1. thank god she was.

Mystic Mock 07-08-2011 06:04 PM

I cant believe Swagger Jagger is number 1.

Does this mean you're an official Cher fan now? :amazed:

bbfan1991 07-08-2011 06:07 PM

I can see some people are retreating.

Just saw someone RT something if you hate Cher, jeez some of these people are pathetic. I understand they dislike her but they're just adding to her publicity regardless;).

1 Cher Lloyd 66,315
2 JLS/Dev 53,317

Simon is first and foremost a businessman. He doesnt make decisions to deliberately sabotage his own acts! That would be psycho not Syco.

You're implying he deliberately chose a song that would drag him to court?

as for song choices and release dates, there is no exact science. Sometimes you go with a certain song and it just doesnt go down with the public. Again, record companies do not deliberately fck up their own acts.

Jords 07-08-2011 06:09 PM

Good on Cher :D

How do you describe him giving Joe Narnia, but gives Olly songs that gives him top 5 finishes in the charts? MeMyselfAndI is right that Simon does delibrately **** up his own acts.

That film was a huge worldwide hit taking nearly $430mill. So not quite sure why you see being given a big song on it as sabotage. :conf:

Olly has top 5 hits because the public probably just relate to him more. Simon can't force who the public take to. They both had huge publicity and the record buyers made their choice.

Marc 07-08-2011 06:22 PM

Yay! How cool :)

Having the winner singing a song that makes him look like a kids singer is pretty much a sabotage.

And the public related to Joe more because when it was an even field on X Factor,Olly came bottom of the votes over Jedward and Lloyd in week 7,and in the final Joe won with 62% of the vote while Olly gets a lousy 38%

Locke. 07-08-2011 06:26 PM

The public love Olly that is why his album went double platinum.

But this thread is about the amazing Cher so stop talking about other people that aren't as good :nono:
