GOAL!!!

Shakhtar Donetsk 1 - 0 Werder Bremen.

30stone 20-05-2009 07:13 PM

There a rule against playing a weakened side then? surely not as they are all in the squad?

And Arsene Wengar turned down the 100mil transfer budget to stay at Arsenal.

Cole just signed a new contract with Chelsea and wont leave.

there are no rules about it. They can talk and threaten all they want, Man U have earned the right to rest their starters by winning the league early. Thats just the way it goes. It doesnt matter anyways. Any team they put against Hull is gonna win.

Don't think so, a club can field who they want in the team.
To me it sounds like sour-grapes, end of the day other clubs should play better! Man Utd have a bigger game than Hull, but Man Utd will still play good without the main team.

But this kind of thing can take twists, in the past some teams have played bad so they don't win/get a goal.. Happens all over the world, but Man Utd will play to win.

andyman 20-05-2009 07:25 PM

1-1

NOt surprising at all. At the launch of the 2018 bid, everyone who addressed the audience was white and male. And it included the BNP councillor. They messed up big time.

So they should have a black person just to be PC?
People should get where they are by merit and not skin colour, if there is a system to halt people of colour then it's a problem that everybody should know about and change the system to make it fair, people are people.. Better the day when we can all see past skin colour and just see the person for who they are.

Locke. 20-05-2009 07:44 PM

Liverpool vs Atletico Madrid friendly scheduled early august at anfield, going to try and get tickets to that. I went to an Everton friendly against Athletico Madrid, must have been almost 2 years ago now, and the ticket was only £5, so I hope its similar this time.
