Let me tell you a story about my situation...

If I went to a foreign country and was looking for a job am I right in thinking that I'd just be able to add even more jobs I've never done to my CV and they wouldn't bother checking the references or anything because it's in a different country?

David I think it depends what kind if job you're applying for.. I don't think they'd be too fussed for references if you were applying to sell watermelon on the beach, but I reckon it would different if you were applying to be, say an Estate Agent?

I don't really plan on applying for any but just wanted to check incase my money doesn't last as long as I am hoping, so it'd probably wouldn't be anything other than bars or cafes or something

Well depending on where you go you can get some bar work easily, some places literally give jobs away

In that case, I wouldn't even bother with a CV.. It'll just be a case of going from place to place asking for work.
