In all fairness, a Saturday show in BB12-BB15 would usually get 1.1/1.2m excluding +1 anyway. Sometimes even more.

So it's not much of an achievement in general. But by BB16 standards, it's a decent rating, considering all the Saturday Highlights have gotten less than a million this series.

Nobody watches Saturday Love Island.
It's a recap episode showing us everything from the past week, which we've already seen.

It's basically one week in one episode.
I don't bother tuning in to it, as I've already seen the stuff.

I think it's on for another 4 weeks.

It beat all of BB15's Saturdays and BB14 only went above a million on a Saturday twice. So excl +1 being over it is quite an achievement.

Depends what the official figure with +1 is.

It may be higher excluding +1. But if only few watch it on +1. It will rate 1.07m overall. Let's say.
That's not as good as say BB15's Week 5 Saturday, which rated 1.26m

There's no show on Friday. And Saturday's show is irrelevant. So it's pretty much on five times a week.

The ratings looks bad in comparison to BB. But it's not like this series is getting BB14 ratings, anyway. BB16 is also flopping, so taking the piss out of LI ratings is a bit hypocritical when most people who do are defending a 1.1m including +1 rating for a BB highlights show.

Plus, LI is far more enjoyable than BB16, IMO.

The fact the legends are in there for another week, just shows how dead this series is, that they are using Helen Wood of all people to keep it alive.

Interesting that Thursdays show with Pete Bennet and the other old HMs returning is Demand 5's most popular show atm, so hopefully that'll suggest that little week including Saturday's rating would see a small boost, hopefully upping the official from 1.42 to 1.45?

I usually spend loads of time on the forums but I haven't found this year as appealing or enjoyed it as much as previous years hence my absence im not gonna sit here and waste my time everyday saying how crap it is I moved on when it was **** but I got interested again when the legends went back in and im loving this series now and caught back up with it all.

I would go as far as saying now I look forward to the episodes like I used to with BB14 instead of feeling like I have to watch out of loyalty.

BB fans are celebrating the rating because only weeks ago the Saturday episodes were getting like half a million lol so its gained about 600k.

LI deserves "ratings shade" god I hate that saying its cringe because its doing terrible!

Even Big Brother's biggest fan Brian Belo is in tears over it.

At this point I'm fascinated by the trainwreck.

It's a shame more people aren't. They may actually try doing the things that need to be done to change it. But some are actually praising them for this. So you'll probably get more of the same next year.
