Man City now has 10 points lead in a race to the title.

It is their title to lose now.

Calderyon 17-02-2021 09:31 PM

Everton's double GW was a total bust.

Why not play James Rodríguez when they were struggling to hold onto the ball ?

I know, 5-0 win away at Wigan. Although this thread is for Premier league, City are in league 1.

Alf 18-02-2021 08:11 AM

Hull City
Bristol City
Bradford City
Leicester City
Coventry City
York City
Stoke City

Manchester City used to be in with these, but when they became rich, they became privliged and became the only "City."

I didn't fall for the brainwashing from the television people and they're still Manchester City to me.

what are the chances of Man U/Leicester winning 4 more games than Man C in the run in

Unlikely to happen, but I guess almost anything is possible.

Alf 18-02-2021 05:19 PM

Please call "Manchester City," "Manchester City," because that's their name. And also Manchester United are called Manchester United, not United or Man U. It's so disrespectful to the clubs and the city of Manchester. Pretty lazy on your behalf too.

Be better.

My guess on what's gonna happen on this week's Football.

Jack Grealish & Wilfried Zaha will do what they do best.

Wilfried Zaha will ask about "getting protection" off the Referees, the FA will make a response that nobody will ever forget.

Meanwhile Birmingham City score a goal, this was the fans response.

Wigan win a Football match. This was Lincoln's response.

And Grimsby will show Man City how it's done.

I know that it's a weird post, but hopefully it'll lighten up those of us who are needing a bit of fun in the Football world at the moment.

Has something bad happened in the football world?

Wilfried Zaha has said that he will stop taking the knee.

I was exaggerating a little bit.

But it's not gonna go down as a classic season for me personally.

No they're not.

They're called Manchester City.

I was infracted on here and recieved verbal abuse from forum members for calling a celebrity by a different name.

I can accept for you to call a team by their nickname and I will accept people from Manchester to call them City or United, just as the people in Hull call Hull City, "City"

These fixtures aren't doing us any favours.

Tottenham Hotspur in the Cup on the Wednesday evening Fulham on Sunday evening, Manchester City on the Wednesday evening and Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.

That's down to Manchester City cancelling against us earlier in the season, I was right to complain about that at the time, I knew it would come back to hurt us.

Alf 20-02-2021 11:45 AM

Merseyside Derby day

Let's have some blasts from the pasts

The 85/86 season when they were the top 2 teams in the land and probably Europe.

Everton were the defending league champions and the best team at this time, just a bit better than Liverpool, however, Liverpool won the double that season. Everton blew the league when it was in their hands, mainly due to the fact that we lost Neville Southall to a broken leg at the back end of the season. Similar to when Eric Cantona got banned and Blackburn snatched the title in the 94/95 season.

We had the best striker in the land who finished top goalscorer that season and then at the end of the season went on to win the Golden boot at the World Cup.

What a clown Bruce Grobbelaar was.

Martin Tyler commentating, doesn't he still commentate today?
