Umm I quite doubt that somehow...
Why not?

She's not a lesbian.
Doubt she's into creeps - too sensible and too classy!
How would she know he's a creep? She can't even understand the concept of a secret task.

30 year old mother of 3 girls here. I think your assumption may be way off. He has intelligence, he questions the system and he makes fools out of social stereotypes. Just because it isn't your humor, it doesn't mean he is puerile.

Oh no its not that.

I actually dont think he is as ugly as he is made out to be, quite average I think, if he lost the ridiculous hair and the sideburns.

I just cant see them connecting, as such...the are too unlike in character

Well that's true.
But it was on TV and she probably will get to find out.
i know what your sayin but the whole point of big brother is seeing how people REALLY behave in life therefore its termed as a REALITY show... therefore in real life hira would never hear these comments... ok?:eureka:
No, not really. But you've got a great line in Smileys so I give up.

And besides which, I've got to get to my Politically Correct, In the closet, uptight, repressed blokes who like to slip Rohypnol into womens' drinks meeting... actually, I've always wanted to be accused of being PC, I've achieved my lifetime ambition, the irony is almost too much.

I think people, that we are all missing the point a bit.

Whether we on this forum think that it is or isn't the done thing to talk about a woman like that isn't really the point.

The more important point is that Hira, as a Muslim probably - nay, almost certainly, would be hurt and offended.
she aint a strict one or her husband/father/brother would not have let her in that house.

Its a telly game show ffs blue; they know the score.
What's strict?

I mean I really don't know as I'm not a Muslim.

She prays and she has asked people to respect her modesty.

Isn't that good enough?
blue, yes there are as many 'Islams' as there are Islamic nations. The Islam of Saudi is very different from the Islam of Malaysia. So, yes, defining what is 'strict' is not easily achieved.

However, it is certainly true that many Islamic cultures would most certainly prevent Hira from entering that house. The fact that she is in there would suggest what we in the west would percieve as more 'relaxed' interpretation and parctice of Islam. This being the case i find acceptable that Hirs has to 'put up with' western liberal behaviour from the other housemates no matter how incongrous such behaviour may be to Islamic practice and etc.
