[rquote=2590993&tid=147654&author=Twilight]At lest they still are together unlike oasis
:wink:[/rquote] So much else that could be dragged up about emo band Paramore that could paint them even worse. You're so oblivious its pretty funny |
[rquote=2591010&tid=147654&author=Twilight]How old are you:rolleyes:[/rquote]
You know you love it. |
[rquote=2591011&tid=147654&author=Tom][rquote=2586909&tid=147654&author=InOne]Well I guess we will have to see if Arctic Monkeys can stand the test of time. Alex is already doing bit and bobs with other artists plus shadow puppets[/rquote]
I don't think they can. Arctic Monkeys peaked with their first album and for me have pretty much fizzled out after their second one. I know their latest album went in at #1 but their singles haven't been doing great lately. Plus it was all at a time indie was popular, which seems to have died on its arse now. Oasis, where I hate them now mainly due to them popping up in the papers every now and again, I don't think peaked until about 10 years into their career, I really don't think Arctic Monkeys are gonna be the new Oasis. I give them another 2 years tops. [/rquote] Yeah, I don't think Alex has that much charisma as a frontman really. |
Please you obviously don't know what emo music actually sounds like if you think Paramore are Emo
|
Emos listen to them
|
I think Paramore were inspired from No Doubt and Haley thinks she is Gwen. She's not.

[rquote=2591026&tid=147654&author=Tom]Emos listen to them
[/rquote]And how do you know that |
[rquote=2591030&tid=147654&author=Twilight][rquote=2591026&tid=147654&author=Tom]Emos listen to them
[/rquote]And how do you know that[/rquote] judging by a lot of people i know who like them |
[rquote=2591032&tid=147654&author=Tom][rquote=2591030&tid=147654&author=Twilight][rquote=2591026&tid=147654&author=Tom]Emos listen to them
[/rquote]And how do you know that[/rquote] judging by a lot of people i know who like them [/rquote]Oh yeah somepeople you know thats not even like 1% of listeners |

Also AM were nominated for a couple of Grammy's...
I dont necessarily think that they will stay around for 15 odd years like Oasis, but Alex will be around for years, I think he'll have numerous side projects... |
