I don't think the forum is strict.I find it annoying whenever there is an argument, infractions and the thread being closed is always the end outcome. Arguing is one of the only things that make all the members on this forum actully interact with each other, if there was no arguing it would be boring. I would hate it if I came onto this thread and everyone was just agreeing with each other and not expressing there opinions just because it may give them an infraction.

Crimson Dynamo 01-03-2010 08:14 AM

The forum should be stricter in order to maintain debate and chat

words like *******, ******, spas, abortion survivors etc should not be tolerated.

if you would not say it to your Mum then it should not be on the forum

Also if anyone uses the word Troll they should be banned for a week.

As with all forums attacks on person should be hammered down.

You can express your opinion and interact with eachother without arguing. Arguing and debating is not the same. Disagreeing does not always have to lead to an argument either. It seems younger members are incapable of this.

Abortion is Very Normal.

You seem to be deluded
thinking this is a Church.

TBH it's like jack finds something to pick on every week.

No one is saying that the horrible act of abortion is now commonplace but using the killing of a child as a means to belittle and insult someone is not acceptable.

Surely I do not need to explain that to anyone on here?

Did you not read the 'survivor' part?

I call people abortion survivers to my dear mum all the time. She lolz at it. Your simply doing your best to make it sound incredibly evil and lord knows I don't know why.

Unless of course the postcount function has some hidden virtuous ability granting spiritual energy I have not yet tapped into that betters your life in some way.

You may be on to something there, maybe the postcount increases your longevity, maybe it grants the power of a demi god.

Something well worth looking into and debating. Unfortunately i dont have too much time to do either, I am off to start lots of threads in forums that count posts:wink:

It would be better to not call them anything. The inference is that the person was unwanted and somehow supernaturally survived an abortion and was thereafter brought up by the mother who did not want it?

Its not the wording but the leap of faith involved to conjure up the insult.

Tbh you should be thankful its not an adult forum else we wouldnt be allowed to come on..

Sorry but I'm an adult and really never ever want to see that blue waffle again, not because I get offended easily but because it is disgusting and looking at made me feel sick

I can't speak for all the staff, but personally, there's a line with arguments that shouldn't be crossed on here. Arguments and debates are healthy, but when people start insulting each other because of a difference of opinions, and you've got teams of people ganging up on each other... that shouldn't be happening. The best way to deal with it is to close the thread to prevent more replies being posted, and explain why, then hand out infractions to any particular rule offenders. At the end of the day, the site has rules, whether you agree with them or not, that you should abide by when you sign up, and when these are smashed, then you should accept your punishment.
That's for me anyway, and I'm sure other mods/admins will agree.

WOMBAI 01-03-2010 10:24 AM

Unfortunately - there are always those that try to challenge rules that don't suit them in an attempt to big themselves up!

Most can work it out for themselves. Not up to me to name people!

Yes, sure. If you want to take it that litteraly.

Anyways, I have another three brand spanking new infraction points for my original post. From James, no less. By my thinking he thinking he is always right, I offended him, innit.

Apparently though I am wrong and he is right. What a beautiful illustration of sheer irony. I love when infraction points prove points.

But I refer to trolls in my Mystical Realms Stories. They are big creatures who impose law and order, have a clan structure and motivated by honour.

Nothing like the anti-social types that give them a bad name.

Yes, it is quite an amusing concept.
